Hhhhmmm
Is Yutaka going to follow his fellow "Beach Boys"'s co star, Takashi Sorimachi, having a role as rebellious teacher ???
Maybe he's hoping to achieve a success like Takashi has done with "GTO".
Hopefully his dorama next season is a good one.

Yanki Boko ni Kaeru (on TBS)
On a more realistic note, Yutaka Takenouchi will star in Yanki Boko ni Kaeru (Fridays at 10 p.m. on TBS network) beginning Oct. 10. This one is based on the true story of a teacher at a high school for dropouts from around the country. A graduate of the school and a former delinquent himself, Yoshimori (Takenouchi) returns to teach at his alma mater.

Hey everyone. I'm new to the board, even tho I've been a regular visitor to the site for a few months, ever since I got hooked on j-dramas (all thanks to Ikebukuro West Gate Park ^^).
So I thought of asking if any of you guys know of any promising series coming up next season? Because I only found out about Stand Up!! today, and I wish I knew about it sooner. Thanks!!

hmmm i'm really interested in this show.. ishigaki yuma and i think aiba masaki (not sure) is going to be in it.. !! it's set in hokkaido isn't it..? ii na..
I'm interested in it because its about yankis. I hope there's an absurd amount of rumbles and such.
Anyways, does anyone know which season of trick is running in LA right now?
rezo, it's obviously 1st season...since by season 2, the 2 main leads would already have known each other (plus if u watch the credits, it says TricK and not TricK 2)

Sorry for my very late reply, arashinokoto .
Regarding Yutaka's new dorama, actually I don't know much info about it.
I just know that the main character is played by Yutaka.
I also don't know where's the location setting for this dorama.
So, getting the info from you is very new and informative for me.
Thx arashi, gomen ne....I can't help you much.

Manhattan Love Story (on TBS)
Masahiro Matsuoka of TOKIO sports a definitely bushy, early 20th-century mustache in Manhattan Love Story, starting Oct. 9 at 10 p.m. on TBS. Perhaps, it is quite appropriate for the master of a retro coffee shop that serves only coffee and ice cream in a busy downtown business district.

Personal note :
Wow....reading this synopsis is already make me laughing out loud. Naoto Takenaka's wig and ofcourse his character on J-Movie "Shall We Dance" is SOOOOO HILLARIOUS ! Now he'll play a character with his wig as his pride again in this dorama. SUGOIII !!
I hope his character in this next dorama will be as funny (hopefully even more funnier) as what he showed in "Shall We Dance".
I can't wait to watch this dorama.
Lion Sensei (on NTV/YTV)
When it comes to hair, Naoto Takenaka trumps all the competition. He will boast a mustache, beard and toupee for his role in Lion Sensei, which begins Monday, Oct. 13 at 10 p.m. on NTV--and his hair is a very important part of the plotline, too. He is a classical literature teacher with 22 years experience who cannot bear to tell anyone the proud mane he displays is really a wig. When the reality of his predicament starts to really stress him out, his head gets unbearably itchy. Okay. This series should at least get a prize for originality.

Hakoiri Musume (on FUJI TV)
There is definitely a heart linking Keith (Mark Condon) and Hana (Naoko Iijima) in Hakoiri Musume (The Girl in the Box, the literal translation of the term referring to overly sheltered young women). The new Fuji network series starts Oct. 7 at 10 p.m.
Keith is a stressed-out elite foreign executive who falls in love with Hana. With two foreign actors in supporting roles, the new season will be a bit international as well as very hairy.

suekko chyonan ane sannin (on TBS)
Junichi Okada is just married to Eri Fukatsu, a woman older than him. This new couple is still living with Junichi's parent. Unfortunatelly this causes a bit of conflict between Eri and her in laws. Eri herself is working in a radio station and she's pretty successful in her career. So somehow this thing made Junichi feels pretty intimidate.
