I've never watched "HATSU TAIKEN" (yet), but from what I red in the internet, it's a dorama by FUJI TV that has been aired by FUJI TV on January until March 2002.
The genre of the dorama is romantic-comedy. The main story is about a young woman (27 years old)/played by Miki Mizuno who has never making love (having s e x) before and she feels that's a big problem in her life. Fujiki Naohito plays as a man, her schoolmate that she has a crush on. _________________

hatsu taiken's out in singapore on vcd.

after hero, kimura san and matsu san were in a three hour samurai drama titled chushingura 1/47. if you're in singapore, the vcd is available locally.

i think i saw it in one of the poh kim shops, which would mean all the branches carry it. i was at a couple of places over the last two weeks, suntec, tampines, hougang.

its not a movie but a three-hour period(samurai) drama. i've been seeing it at quite a lot of vcd places in s'pore lately, so my hunch is that it should be available in johor or KL.
btw, you should be careful not to mix it up with this one called "japanese knight" which is really a re-release of oda nobunaga.

hi,I saw hatsu taiken already.I bought the VCD in Pok Kim and the version I bought is in chinese subtitles. I can't seem to find the different version of the vcd anywhere else so i think there is not any other versions available which is in both english and chinese subtitles yet..

To mldesu, well...it's pretty easy to get japanese dramas here, because I already know the most complete Jap VCD stores^^
One local TV station here starts to broadcast J-drama frequently, since a year ago. Starts with News no Onna, then Beach Boys, Long Vacation, Love Generation, Perfect Love, and now showing, Shotgun Marriage^^

Gue sebenarnya jarang beli VCD dorama. Kalau window shopping VCD dorama,..nah itu baru sering. he..he..he...
Gue selama ini kalo' di Jakarta pernah beli VCD dorama di toko "MY IDOL" di Gajah Mada Plaza,..trus pernah mesan sama : cross_animation (semacam HobJapan gitu deh).
Trus, kalau lagi beruntung,..gue biasanya nitip sama temen atau kenalan gue yg lagi tugas belajar atau tugas kerja ke Singapur atau Malaysia.
Kalau toko-toko lain di Jakarta yg jual VCD dorama tuh :
* "WOM" di Citraland Grogol, Lantai 3
* "CITADEL" di Mal Taman Anggrek Tomang, Lantai 3
