Alias is terrific. It's only one of a couple of network shows that I think are worth watching...

Hi bwmracer and other Alias watchers,
Please give me a spoiler of what transpired within the last few weeks or month and a half in the storyline. I'm like confused...what happened to her. Was she like caught or in a coma or something.

Oh wow. I can't even remember what's transpired since they haven't shown a new episode in weeks... The one key revelation is that Vaughn's wife, Lauren, is a double agent: she works for The Covenant...

Talented comedian with an entertaining tv sitcom! Hopefully give Asian Americans a reason to hope that if a Latino can have a sitcom on television....hell, maybe it's time we can have one again (we haven't had one since Margaret Cho's "American Girl").

Remember to call and vote for Jasmine Trias (yes, the cute girl with the flower on her hair) every Tuesday night! The call is free! So, if you watch "American Idol", show some love and vote for Jasmine! Damn, she can sing!

Bitch can sing, I'll have to admit.
Yes, I watched the ep last week, only to watch her sing though.
Gotta give Hawaii people some love and support though right?
She's from Mililani. Not too far from my parent's place in Waipio. About an 8 minute drive. She's only in high school though! Damn good for a kid though! _________________

Everytime I listened to KZOO or meet someone from Hawaii who are big fans of JPOP they are all from Mililani or go to some high school over there. Btw, is Hakabundo still around?
As for Hawaii...damn, they have done well this season... two girls from Hawaii...but Jasmine... I was happy to see the judges happy with her. She has talent and the good thing... if she does win it, FINALLY this may open up things for an Asian artist to finally get some damn airplay on radio nationwide...(not just Hawaii, SF, NY, LA or SD).

Hakubundo. And yes, it's still around. Kapiolani Blvd near Ala Moana shopping center and the strip club Femme Nu. Get a lot of stuff from Hakubundo. Love that store! Bunbundo closed down about a year half ago or so. (Don't know if you're familiar with it though)

Perhaps. But she doesn't really fit into the "asian" thing. If she does win, I think she may be fit into the market as just a person from Hawaii. With not much effect on Asian artists rising up. _________________

Where is Bunbundo located...Was it the one at Kahala Mall? Whatever happened to Shirokiya or Records Hawaii? It's been so long... I remember a friend said many places were closing...
Also, is the programming for Japanese music on KZOO any better?
As for the Asian thing, you maybe correct. I remember when Forte won some TV music contest... those girls from Hawaii can sing (one of the members sisters was an original Coconuts Musume member) but I don't think their music ever caught on over here in the mainland.

I *love* Jasmine. She's cute, humble, and a well-rounded singer. I love her voice. But....as always with AI, there are other singers on there that I love and think are talented enough to win, so I'm confused Jennifer Hudson, Letoya London, Amy Adams, and Camile Velasco....they are all the best out of those 12, in my opinion. Camile needs help choosing her songs though. Of course, whoever doesn't win and is still great (like those I mentioned), I bet they'll still get record deals anyway. Look at Clay!
Diana is good, but her personality is kinda....annoying and too sweetly happy (just for me). Get rid of the "Pen Salesman". George Huff is great, but for some reason I need a female to win again this time because I wasn't a fan of Kelly Red-headed John, he's good, but unless he can jump music genres, he won't make it. Unlike many, I don't like Fantasia Barrino. She's a great performer, but...her voice gets on my nerves. It reminds me of Macy Gray, who I don't like. And she's a little bit of a "I know I'm DAMN good...." person.
