I don't get any PM notifications at all. I've had too much in the past where it kind of spammed my E-mail inbox. So I've forsaken that option of E-mail alerts for PMs. As far as a notification for PMs, there still must be a glitch in the mail server system. Even last week, I used a generic username to "test" (if you may) a registration proces. Until today, I haven't received the activation E-mail. But I've already notified Genma to delete that particular username from Jdorama.com's database.
My main concern is that I hope new users are able to register for the site.
But for now, users of the board, please DO NOT change your E-mail address (as your account will be shut down and you will have to wait for an activation E-mail to reactivate your account) until Genma has given official word that the mail server problem has been resolved.
There were posts in this particular thread regarding the issue, but apparently a moderator deleted those particular posts thinking that they were irrelevant, when actually, they did serve some relevance to the topic at hand. (Because it was an actual occurance with one of our regular usres who got locked out from the system) My apologies on his behalf. _________________

Same here. I'm always visiting JDorama, so there's no point in getting a e-mail alert...

Sometimes I would get the same response...what's up with that? What does it even mean?

I think what it means is that in posting a reply in a certain thread, someone marked the thread as one they want to get an email notification of replies for. So when we post a reply in it, we get a warning that the email did not send to them...

Hmm...I thought the option to 'watch topics' has been disabled a long time ago. Why all of a sudden that message appears just now? Weird.
BTW, thanks for clarifying that for me, Kou!

You would just check off "Notify me when a reply is posted". I'm looking down right now and the option is still there The mail server must still be broken. It seems to be a widespread problem...not just a couple members I am set to get PM notifications and i haven't gotten one in what seems like almost a month
