theres like hair products for guys that u could use for good volume shaping and direct random pieces, try getting like a dry wax/gel combo.. i think switchtrix would be a nice one, that might cost at least $12-20.. yes its expensive u wont find that on any grocery store though, try looking for a hairstyle shop or something.. but anyway, why not ask some guys here that has nice haircuts, they might know something more
before you wanna go and get a haircut, try going to that shop i told u and ask them for a good tip for that kinda hair, or yeh bring a picture like i said before.. im no pro or anything but thats how we do it, u dont wanna spend on something that ure not sure of, goodluck!

Well...I know it's a little odd but I really like KT's hair in Pride. Any episode pretty much says it all, it's pretty awesome, even right when he gets out of bed.
So Two questions I'd like to ask all of you:
1) What should I tell my stylist when he cuts my hair when the time comes? (layer, texturize, etc?)
2) Styling products to get my hair to hold like KT's? I use paste/glue already but I need something that goes on a little easier yet holds throughout the day.
I know these are slightly Off topic questions but I just said to myself what the hey just throw it out there.
thanks! |

Hi Turdz,
I asked the same question on the SMAP thread several weeks ago and there are pics of his hair on that thread. I'm actually going for Kimura's style of hair during the December 30th broadcast of SmapxSmap which is darker with the blonde tip highlights but there are photos with his current hair which he went a bit chapatsu/lighter on the hair.
I use paste and very little hairspray but in this instance, after you get out of the shower or wet your hair, for the back side have your hairdryer ready and hairspray and hold certain piecs of your hair and spray, hairdry and you'll get the sticking out part at the back.
I don't know how your current hair looks right now, so I wouldn't know what to say but definitely have a picture of all sides if you can and give it to your hairstylist. The one posted on the SMAP thread under artists has some good photos of Kimura Takuya from the side and front.
Bare in mind, in terms of looking for something that will hold that hair, and going for the Kimura Takuya hair, you will not need to use paste anymore. I used paste strictly for when I got a Nakata Hidetoshi haircut and it was very short and slightly shaved and wanted certain spikes to hold. In this case, I recommend hairspray for the back. You can use it for the front, but liquid gel can work the same way as well.
I'm still trying to grow out my hair a little more. I also like Kashiwabara's hair for the Toyota IST ads.
