You are so persistent.

Maiko told me, that You can't see any lessons becouse You haven't full account on this site. And... She wants to ask You again - what are You doing this? Can You talk with her face to face?

I remove my last post, but I think that You like humilitate...

I have no desire to talk to her face to face, and I don't need to see any more of the lessons than I saw. There are mistakes, and I only skimmed through it, so as a moderator of this (the Learn Japanese) section of JDorama.com and as a linguist, I feel that it is my duty to let people know the quality of your site.

And I don't like to humiliate anybody, I'm simply pointing out to people that your site is run by no native speakers, and has many, many errors in the amount that I saw, so charging people for something that they could go anywhere on the internet to get is very unethical, in my opinion.

It was your comment, acting like you weren't one of the people involved in the site (otherwise you wouldn't have used words like "seem" and "recommendable"), that made me angry.
You signed up to OUR forum for the sole purpose of promoting your site, which is classified as spam, and then pretended like you were just someone promoting it.

The bottom line is this -- I am fluent to a native level in Japanese, and I decided to look at your site to see if it was worth the $23. I have a responsibility as a moderator here to warn my users of sub-par quality sites, which I believe yours is. So what if the recordings are done by native Japanese speakers. You obviously don't have enough of a grasp of Japanese to be charging for what you are doing.

Oh, and I like how you removed my message from your site, rather than presenting your own arguments. Very classy and professional.

So, you're telling me that you, kate100 that signed up to tell us about that site, are NOT the same Kate that appears in the profile section of that website as the "Translator"?
You obviously know "Maiko", who apparently runs the site, since you mentioned getting information from her about my account there.

In any case, even if you aren't the same Kate, the fact remains that the site is less than acceptable quality to me, and I have an obligation and responsibility to tell my users that.

And, I'm not quite sure what:

"He listened to what I was saying, but it wasn't penetrating to get across..."

means.

Sorry.

Meh.
You're defending the site for some reason or another, but whatever.

I learn japanese for about 1 year at home by books
and another 3month in Japan in a Language school.
Actually learning in Japan itself is the best teacher ... if you dont learn it properly you cant even buy your food Naughty.
well... pointing & the magic words "kore kudasai" helps from beginning.

But to be honest - 3month language school is just good because
they give you homework, tests and your hear and speak everyday.
If your strong mind ( dont get lazy ! ) you can do better by yourself at home with the book and the cds ! it saves a lot of money

A little hint :

vԂB
has been a long time since I have been around. Hope everyone is doing fine. I wrote the lessons I posted here a long time ago. Right before I moved to Japan I think.
Anyone can feel free to edit lessons to correct mistakes. I should still have them as word files if anyone is interested in correcting them or adding content.

JLL PDF Files

Word Files

Again folks, please don't forget neither English nor Japanese are my native languages. I would love to correct and add further content to the lessons but I have a lotta stuff to do these days. University exams, part time job to save up my tuition etc.

I would also like to apologize for my former 3 consecutive posts. First I thought writing three separate ones is better because their content was quite different. When I wanted to edit them into a single one and delete the other two I realized that members are not allowed to delete their own posts afterwards anymore. Hopefully wont happen again. f|܂B
