A good friend of mine is a graphics artist... One of his clients is a publisher, who produce glossy magazines, filled with Asian women who are looking for American men to marry. And most of them are very well educated, and also seem to make a great living already. I guess they have to be making money... It costs a few cows for an Asian women to get added to their database.
The publisher of the magazine says that these Asian women want to marry American men, mostly for that green card, but also because the men in their hometowns... well, how can I put this with political correctness, they're just not good enough, in one or more ways. You can interpret that however way you want!

But I would like to check out that magazine and database. |
My first choice would, of course, be Sakai Noriko... But she's married already!!!! Sigh....
BTW, is Ryoko married or seeing anyone????

Yeah, she's been hangin' with Ichikawa Shinnosuke, the star of Musashi... Now that taping of the series has finshed, who knows how long the romance will last?
That's when I step in. *poor deluded individual*

It's not just the Japanese that needs to reproduce more... I was watching an episode of Real Time on HBO, and Bill Maher's "New Rules" segment were making fun of actual data that originally turned up in the New York Gazette...
"Jewish population dips"

In my country(the netherlands) we also have a problem wherein the population is going down.
somehow this is a good thing coz it's crowded here. The netherlands are if i remeber correctly the most densly populated western country in the world.
Never have i been to Japan but somehow this country attracts me. If i have saved enough money i'd like go on a long vacation there. From the looks of it the girls are very pretty.
my personal preference would be
Hirosue Ryoko

i really loved her in shotgun wedding

In Hawaii right now, there's a special being advertised on KIKU-TV where you can fly from Hawaii to Japan in the month of December, and stay there for 7 days, for $1995.00. Quite tempting, though I'd prefer to go during the Cherry Blossom Festival, instead of freezing my rear in the winter.
I've been trying to find time to travel to Japan for several years. I last went to Japan and stayed in Osaka back in 1986. At the time, the Japanese newspaper Daily Sports paid my way to compete in a bowling tournament, and shot my only 300-game ever there. However, being a dumb idiot teenager, I ended up eating at places like McDonald's instead of enjoying the foods that the Japanese culture offered. It also so happens to be the same year Sakai Noriko was discovered.
As for me personally, I'm saving my money and will be staying in Maui on the week of New Years 2004 so I can watch the Mercedes Championships (I'm a Tiger Woods fanatic!!!!!)

Heck no!!! He's on another planet that I haven't heard of...
Speaking of golf... If anyone follows Japanese golf professional Maruyama Shigeki, he has a cuuuuuuuuuuuute wife!!!!! Her name is Mizuha. She could appear in a jdorama easily!!! I wish I had a photo of her. I met her in person at the SONY Open in Hawaii earlier this year.
