my sports website proposal just been rejected my boss.. i usually surf j dorama when I can't think.. I'm sure lots of you guys out there are sports fans as well.. what will attract you guys to a sport portal? what is considered as interactive?

Put some dramas on it, or have Matsushima Nanako, Inamori Izumi, Matsu Takako, Fujiwara Norika in a tennis foursome or something. Then I might visit it.

most sports enthusiests (sp?) tend to be male, with a hi level of testosterone. given that, what do they want for eye candy? good looking girls. not just speaking for myself, but if you look at some of the bigger sports website, (espn.com; fanball.com; etc) a lot of times they have sold a piece of their space to some other company who advertises in hotties in bikinis. it's no mystery that "sex sell", so maybe if you inject some of that in your proposal, maybe he'll turn around. Just putting my 2 cents.

To attract girls? This is from woman point of view...

It's always simple put on the trendy branded clothing plus the hunk model too. By putting the latest trend for woman to go fitness or Shoes that are "In" too. So you probably won't just put topic merely on the sports itself but also things that related to it. Another point..ppl are so diet concious, perhaps "How to Eat Healthy" section will be good including the healthy simple recipe.


Don't forget to put the HOT sportsman i.e Hidetoshi Nakata, Ichiro Suzuki, Ian Thorpe, Sato Takuma-F1 racer etc

Ok, I'm being serious now..niko2x said the fact, that should be put into consideration. Selling girls pic in bikini it's like selling delicious hot cake. Just try to make in style though like i.e FHM Magazine, GQ, Esquire which they put sexy girls with style.. so it won't make them look cheap.

Yea I have to agree with everyone else. Most sports fans are guys and what do guys like to see? GIRLS! So put some hawt chicks and it'll surely catch people's eyes. Not that they have to be half naked or anything but something pretty will do

lol i was gonna say that lets say import models too but dont get the girls who're too desperate to be on there, err lets not use import models at all, just get attracted professional models

I think the up-to-date data statics are important, cos that is the main reason I surf for sport portal especially soccer matches. I think a sport gear/fashion section will draw attention too. Like latest soccer boot advertised with famous player that leisure soccer players too like to own one. The most fiercesome mountain bike and the coolest roller-blade available. Cool/hot sport wears for both woman and man. The past happening and upcoming xtreme sports events. watersports info and places to go. Maybe a forum like this for different interest groups like Man U, Liverpool supporters or even F1 racing....

I agree that most sports fans are guys, but we can't forget about the girls who are sports fans too even though they be a minority. By slapping some broad with a new set of boobs, stilettos, painted-on makeup, and a string thong bikini would look cheaper than a crappy rush job for Maxim or Playboy, LOL. That might drive *some* females away. Kinda gotta appeal to everyone although the majority audience is male. Keep the material tasteful (meaning some cleavage and stuff is cool but not "I'm wearing such a tight little string bikini but IT'S SO COLD IN HERE"), but appealing and sexy. Either that, or slap some boobs on the right side and some hot guy on the other. A lot of girls like Beckham, LOL.

..to get the female's atttention, what about using that same male hottie (swimmer/gymnist type body) and putting a potato inside his swimming trunks/biker shorts? Only thing is the potato has to be in the front (and not the rear, LOL!).
