They are all love-comedies. I don't know the original titles, only Mapado (Mapa Island). My friend copied them for me. I like them really. _________________

The Classic!
The name speaks for itself, it's definately a classic. I'd say MSG and The Classic are easily my 2 favorite Korean movies and maybe 2 favorite movies of all time. Another good Son Yae Jin movies is Lover's Concerto (also stars the lead actor from MSG).
That's good to know, been debating whether to take a chance on it, guess I will now. Just watched another Son Ye-jin movie, The Art of Seduction, would only give it a so-so rating but she was fantastic in it, watched it a bunch of times and been really wanting to see more of her, April Snow is another one with her in it that I'm debating on.

If you don't like romance then it might not be your thing, but I thought April Snow was good. There are some good scenes.
If they're good I don't mind them, most movies from there are some sort of romantic ones so you get used to their style, just got this though, one mentioned above, looking forward to it.

^^ Good to hear because it's gonna be my next watch. Last watch was Yesterday, seen it a few times now though not sure why, only so-so and a bit confusing but quite a good action scenes, it's referred to as a sci-fi film though not even close to that genre.

Watched The Classic, it wasn't one but certainly a really good film, I enjoyed it quite a bit and it deserves a few more watches, plus a great job by Son Ye-Jun playing both the mother and daughter.

^^ No, hadn't even heard of it but checked it out, looks interesting, think I'll give it a whirl. Meanwhile, just viewed this for about the 4-5th time, Time, really odd and bit deranged at times but such a fantastic film.

Kim Ki-Duk's films are always a bit odd, but always good.
Should check out a few more from him, heard of most of them but besides Time have only seen Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter... and Spring, which was just okay, tad too slow. Time I bought in a double pack, 2 for the price of one, the other was Bad Guy, now that was truly a disturbing film. _________________

Yeah, his work is an 'acquired taste'
You should check out 3-iron.

^^ Okay, I will check that out, have heard of it and recall the reviews on it being quite good.
Latest watch, one of my faves, My Tutor Friend, could also watch anything with Kim Ha-neul.
