Yea I know what you mean, he just looks I dunno, dumb? I first saw him in Beautiful Life and I didn't like him much in that. He's not a bad actor but he's not the fan favorite type either

From the two dramas I've seen him in (Beautiful Life and Where is Love?) he's got the nervous, bumbler-type down pat. It seems very natural, and he seems very vulnerable and accessible. Though I wonder if he's able to transcend that stereotype...

In terms of actors, the only actor I've seen play dramatically different parts is Dohmoto Tsuyoshi (Summer Snow vs. To Heart). Say what you will about KimuTaku, but he plays the same guy pretty much all the time (not that there's anything wrong with that, I mean Harrison Ford plays Harrison Ford all the time).

Well my dislikes are pretty much just like everyone else's

Kyoko Fukada (cute, can't act, etc)

And I think I am starting to not like Rina Uchiyama, I am not sure what it is, her expressions just aren't relaying properly to me.

I haven't watched anything with him in it yet, but I already doubt very much that he has any ability like Tamura, lol.

actually, that hair is his trademark. he did alot of samurai stuff, among others.

The ones I never really liked are Miki Mizuno and Takizawa Hideaki. I dunno, I've never really found a Miki Mizuno perfomance that I considered as convincing. Sort of the same for Takizawa. And as a side note, although its true a lot of KimuTaku's performances are similar, you need to watch Sleeping Forest. I think that's his best performance, even though its not my favorite drama with him in it(close though). Its markedly different from all his different roles. Its really chilling at some points.

Strange, I've always though Miki Mizuno's performances have been decent (Koi ga shitai, Beautiful Life, Oyaji). Though I don't know if she's leading lady material, her supporting performances are decent.

As for Sleeping Forest, I'm watching it now. I think he's still playing KimuTaku, except KimuTaku up one notch of craziness (take his Long Vacation character and make him obsessive).

Hmm I like Kyoko Fukada, but not for her acting. Mostly, or like almost totally, cuz of looks (she's so damn cute). The ideal drama would be a silent drama with Kyoko in it. So I can revel in her cuteness. Mr Green

Yes..he looks like Tamura wannabe. I don't pretty much like Tamura either (he was quite ok in Nizanburo) but I quite hate him in otosan..as Aho have mentioned..his voice, can't stand it..as if he's abt to die or something.

Adding to my hate list: Yuka (same reason like everyone who doesn't like Fukakyon).

I'll be back to add some when I come across with some... hehe

I really like her in Friends....

but that's true that she is really irritating in most of her drama

-kamisama mo sukoshi dake- although many ppl admire her in this but I just can't help but not liking her cos I think she irritated me in the series... with those sad face she kept throughout the show...

but personally I think she is cute...
