Does anyone still remember Akina Nakamori san ? She is my favourite idol since I was in teenage time. As of today, I still think she is the most wonderful singer in Japan.

Akina Nakamori to release first single in four years

TOKYO —

Singer Akina Nakamori, 48, who has been inactive since October 2010, is going to release her first single in four years on Aug 6.

�gSweet Rain,�h which is a medium-tempo new song for her, was recorded in Tokyo at the end of June, according to a TV Asahi report. Moreover, she also did a cover version of the Showa era song �gKoi-no-dorei,�h which will be on a new album. There will be two versions of the album—a �gBest Version�h and �gCover Version.�h

�gAkina�fs voice has not changed, and it�fs 100% amazing. The songstress is back,�h a music industry source said.

Japanese tabloid media reported last week that Nakamori has been in and out of hospital during the last few years for stress and other unspecified ailments.

Akina Nakamori to release first album in 6 years

Nakamori Akina will release a new album, "FIXER", on December 30.

This marks the singer's first original album in about 6 years and 4 months. Her last album "DIVA" was released back in August of 2009. The upcoming album will be comprised of a total of 11 songs, including her 2015 singles "Rojo -Tierra-" and "unfixable". It will be available for purchase in both limited and regular editions.
