Who is your funniest side artist? Not main character, but someone in the back who only get's attention through the things he says, does ec.
Well mine at the moment is Yajima Norito in Hero!! This guy is so funny, without him Hero would only be half as good!!

Not really an actist. But remember the Kintaro (the bird) at [Food Fight] drama? IMO, the bird is the main attraction!

I really liked Kakei Toshio from Yamato Nadeshiko. he did lots of physical comedy that looks pretty funny and is pretty hard to do too. Does anyone know if he was a comic turned actor?

I really liked Hitoshi Matsumoto from Ashita Ga Arusa. He's just a different random character in every episode and he's always wearing some weird outfit or doing something really outrageous.

That guy was hilarious! Made the series more enjoyable to watch.

Lots to choose from, but my favorite supporting players, or comic relief characters have to be:

Hiroshi Abe and Sonny Chiba, both of "Dekichatta Kekkon" (Shotgun Marriage).

Yeah, I'm gonna have to Hiroshi Abe in Dekichatta Kekkon as well. He had me rolling in laughter so many times in that series. hehe

I didn't mention Abe in Trick, because he wasn't a supporting character in that show. He was the lead.

And truth to tell, regardless of how pretty Nakama is... Abe was that show.

Yukie was the brains of the series, Hiroshi was the brawn/jester. Smile

BMW,

Now see... I would have said Yukihiko Tsutsumi was the brains of the series.

Abe was the star.

Yukie was the eye candy. (I had the feeling you could have replaced her with a wax figure from Madame Tussauds', and no one would have known the difference.)

Hahaha, ok so you got a point there but I just like the chemistry between abe hiroshi and yukie nakama. I guess after seeing them pair up like that makes it hard for me to choose any other girl for that role. There's just some sort of ditzy air about yukie. hehe hehe

I agree! Abe Hiroshi is one funny guy....

I find the rest of the other characters in Hero funny too...I think they're one of the reasons why I enjoyed watching Hero Mr Green

Agreed. Applaud

I think "kooky" is a better word. "Ditzy" would be sort of an airhead, and Yukie-chan isn't an airhead in the show... Hiroshi-san is more of an airhead... hehe
