wow, how big is your hard drive now? it sucks to have a small drive when you want to download something so big. (why did the guy have to make the file so big!...i guess its convenient, wouldve been better if it were split in 2 or something).
Sweat
but im not complaining, atleast we get to see bewitched!! it looks like an interesting and fun drama series. Bleah

I'll try to make sure y'all get completed. (edit: If I can ever re-connect to that blasted tracker Mad used by this torrent)

Mr. BMW I had no idea you were not a downloader Smile I'd have offered you disks, but I've never made a VCD disk before. I usually convert to DIVX then burn on a data disk.

I know, I'm a weirdo.

Yeah, they are big and distracting for me because I don't understand Chinese.

Too bad there's no Miracle Cleaner to wipe those useless subs off the video...

You might be able to "erase" them by interpolating from adjacent data and data from adjacent frames, and then OCR the extracted Chinese text, feed it to a machine translator and output an English soft sub. The resulting image would probably still have ghosts of the original subs, but they'd be less distracting.

Sound like fun, I'll get to work on it! Smile

J/K Smile it would be a major pain in the ass. I did think about someting like this though. There is free OCR software for Linux but I tried it on some cheesed up subs (Beach Boys), and it failed miserabobly.

It would have been cool though to be able to automatically extract hardsubs.

it doesnt bother me. well i understand enough japanese to not rely on subs. hehe

its nearly impossible to get rid of the hard coded subs. the only thing we could do is put subs on top of it (but it might look a little messy) or put subs right on top so its dual subs..lol. Sweat

also there might be some scenes that were cut from this version since its like the usual 7-9 disc bootleg VCD set. Rolling eyes

For those in this thread that are d/l'ing this, neefo has kindly reposted the torrent to a d-addicts to get away from the current bogus tracker it is on:

http://www.d-addicts.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3937

I'm switching over to the new torrent...

For those who don't have it yet, I just checked the 8 vcd images, and I found 11 episodes, each between 45 and 46 minutes long, which looks pretty normal ...

Personally I don't care for the VCD sardine treatment so I'm going to edit my copy back to the 11 original shows Smile

dunno if this was already said but did you know the guy playing the assitant of Joji ( should be George) was I think a Hurricane Ranger.....

Anyways, I enjoyed this dorama, it didn't seem too much like it was copied from Bewitched in the US...Yamauchi Nana ( I think I spelled right) was perfect to play Tsubasa.... Sweat Mr Green

From Ninpu Sentai Hurricanger, adapted in the US as "Power Rangers Ninja Storm". (I personally preferred the Sentai version).
