So the rumor floating around since last autumn was actually true. JTV was working on Bus Stop and they released the first ep last night. I haven't seen the series, only heard the lovely Naoko Iijima and Teruyoshi Uchimura (Chief Terasaki's right hand in Shomuni series , the mastermind behind the nasty tricks to have the girls fired) feature in the series. Can't wait to see it. Leeched it a little while ago Thanks JTV!

I find that stuff really annoying. I also find myself not caring at all about any of the characters. If/when ep2 is released I will download it though. Maybe it will get better.
I wish JTV would focus on releasing the last 3 episodes of Long Vacation instead of this lower quality stuff. I know many of you have seen the whole thing but some of us are still waiting... |
I think the cheesiness made it so 'artificial' that I didn't really care about the characters also. Its ok if it were funny. I'd hope that JTV work more on Good Luck though. Oh well, beggers can't be choosers.

Even though I haven't watched Bus Stop, it seems that this drama isn't really that good (from what i heard from ppl). As mentioned above, I too think that JTV should finish the ending of LV. Recently, they have just released Good Luck! and now Bus Stop. In my opinion, they should finish each drama before starting another new one. JTV has mentioned that many ppl are always requesting more episode of a drama. I think the main problem isn't the ppl, but how JTV has organized their releases of drama. I think they have started on too many projects at the same time, and are unable to finish it. I mean one can only do so much.
But anyways, I really want to THANK the whole team at JTV for putting so much time and effort in distrubuting drama. I know how many of you use your spare time and $$ to share the drama with us. THANK YOU!

Terasaki's right hand man Nonomura was played by the late Toshihito Ito. | Pardon my mistake. He really looked like Uchimura.

Wouldn't it be funny if Long Vacation was already done...

Don't know about funny, but certainly mildly amusing.

I must say I'm looking forward to Bus Stop. I haven't seen much of anything with iijima Naoko. I have downloaded the first episode via the newsgroups but haven't watched it yet. I heard of this drama a couple years(?) back and was ready to trade for it subbed on VHS (that's how some of us dorama oldheads do ). I still may do that, but hey. They aren't going to be able to please everyone every time a series is selected for a subbing project, right? If they had a voting process to pick out new projects, there would STILL be disappointed people.
I'm happy Jtv is still going because they have absolutely no obligation to do anything. They work on a lot of stuff simultaneously. Maybe they are doing so to appeal to many people's tastes by having a large variety or even the tastes within the Jtv team themselves. If some people think it pushes back releases of a particular favorite series of their own, it's not really their place to complain even when concealed with thankfulness. Jtv is doing something nice for them in their own spare time while getting only gratitude (probably accompanied by complaints, pestering for faster releases of certain things, people selling their stuff, etc...so it seems).
They have their own methods, schedules, preferences, personal lives, problems, what-have-you. They can't please everyone nor is it their duty. As someone said above, "Beggars can't be choosers". Those not doing any work have no cause for complaints, in my opinion. Fansubbing isn't exactly quick and easy. It's not a business or paid service, so Jtv is free to sub what they want, as much as they want, how they want to do it, when they want to, and for how ever long they want to. They have been releasing several episodes of various shows a week, which is FAST. So they have a very decent pace going. In time, what people want will come out.....one must have patience.
@ thesog's post above: Damn good points. Well said
Sorry......rant over.
