Hi Everyone,
I hurt my back and had to lay in bed for a couple of days. I used the time to finally watch all the episodes of Nagareboshi. Takeno was awesome!!! Of course you have to wait 10 episodes to see some real passion (I won't spoil--but I'd like to be Risa in the last 4 minutes of the Episode 10)!!!!
Takeno seems to have a thing for jellyfish....remember when his character sold them--I think it was in "Merry Christmas No Summer"
Anyway, really enjoyed this one. Looking forward to his next projects. Also, does anyone know where I could see "Hovering Blade" with eng subs? I am not verry good at downloading rip torrents, etc. I am also going to try and watch BOSS again but I found it so dull.......wish I could just watch the Takeno parts only! ha ha.

Yes! His character in Merry Christmas in Summer sold jellyfish and for the opening of Miki's restaurant he set up several jellyfish tanks outside the entrance to attract customers. I loved that drama.
Yutaka was so good in Nagareboshi. I just found out the writer for Nagareboshi also worked on With Love and Psycho Doctor. And the director was also the director for Beach Boys. So these are people who know Yutaka very well, who probably knows how to film him to his best advantage. I won't be surprised if they also know exactly what fans want to see out of Yutaka, all those angst and longing looks. That stare! That reserved calm! Nobody does stoic better than our Yutaka.
I hope your back is all better now Deirdre and I hope it didn't stop you from having a merry Christmas. Get well soon!
