BoA is another great Korean artist who sings mostly in Japanese.
I love her vocal styles.... I see why she is the number 3 artist in Japan...

I have all of her tour albums.... can you imagine her first tour when she was 15 years old (3 years ago)... and the arena in which they recorded her tour DVD was packed with what looked like more than 30,000 fans.

I think that's true. I forgot to mention that but she's really popular in Japan partly cause she's probably a "foreigner" and because her japanese is nearly perfect.

She doesn't have Chinese albums. The Chinese songs are mixed in other language albums. or if there's a chinese version, the last couple tracks will be chinese.

yeah, I visit BoA's Forum too every now and then and haven't read such
posts or heard any talks of it. so yeah, i guess most likely a rumour.

Yeah, her japanese is really good! I guess it was the right choice for her
to decide to go and be active outside of Korea ^^

One of my female acquaintances at the spa named Romi used to be a disc jockey or something like that in Tokyo. Now she is a music video producer in Hollywood. She is a personal friend of BoA and produced one of her music videos about a year ago (yes BoA was here in Hollywood for the production). They went out to show BoA around the town and the nightclubs. BoA as of then did not have a boyfriend .... that is pretty much a no no because for one thing she is much too busy rehearsing, recording and personal appearances to have time for a boy friend and secondly it would hurt her image in the public's eye to be dating at this stage of her career. Even though this was a year ago, I doubt that her routine has changed very much.....
And yes, I tried to get her to let me come out to the set to meet BoA.... She said the security is unimaginable and even she Romi was not permitted to bring even her mother to the set.

Brand New Beat is one of her best new songs. I love the music video. It's so cute lol. Moon & Sunrise is a great song but i dont think they'd repeat really old songs in new albums unless they are remixes. From what i hear, she wrote the lyrics on moon & sunrise by herself!
