I just installed it. so how d I use it with an american keyboard?. O.o
and when i default japanese, is there something i need to press for it to show up. b/c i see JP in my language toolbar, but when i type its still in english .

When in JP mode. In the language bar, change the input mode from A (Direct input) to hiragana and it should work. If you switch program, you'll have to do it again.

I've got XP, and didn't need the disc. Just following the instructions, I was able to install it.

You might need Windows' CD, because unless you installed east asian fonts during XP's installation, it's not on your hard drive. Just put the CD in the drive and click ok.

IIRC, you don't need to do it if you have XP SP2.

Hi guys,

Let's say i'm running a mini mac with the operation system as OS 10X, and Safari version 2.0.4.(419), as the web browser. What do i need to do to this machine for it to be able to type in japanese, much like the instructions in the 1st page?

I wish i can tell you more about this machine, but my friend thru out all the paperwork to this machine and I'm not a mac guy. Sorry.
