Do As Infinity to stream 11th anniversary concert on Nico Nico Douga

Pop band Do As Infinity has decided to broadcast their next concert online, it has been learned. They are scheduled to perform on September 29 at Shibuya-AX to celebrate their 11th anniversary. The show is titled "Do As Infinity 11th Anniversary LIVE ~More! Core! Rare! Here!~" and will be streamed live for free through the Nico Nico Douga video sharing website.
For the concert, Do As Infinity plans to perform some songs that they usually do not play live, and they have some other special ideas in mind. After tickets for the show sold out on the first day of sale, the band decided on the Niconico Douga live broadcast so that all of their fans can celebrate Do As Infinity's 11th anniversary together.
Also on September 29, Do As Infinity is releasing their new single "JIDAISHIN," available only through the mu-mo shop.

^^ I have the VCD from their 5th anniversary concert which was also at Shibuya Duo. Best concert I've seen from them, they really can rock out, almost looked like a punk show the way everyone was pogo-ing and Ban-chan can really hit those high notes, couple shots from the concert.
It was actually a double VCD, disc one was all about their 2004 concerts on NY and Dallas. _________________

You were right about DAI performing more of their non-hits Gaijin, their 2nd encore was hit laden but during the regular show it was almost the seldom heard songs and some newer ones. Here's some pics from the anniversary show, Ban-chan's hair is, uh...

Good news for all DAI fans, scheduled for release on 1/19/11 is album #8 from them, called Eight. Includes intro theme to anime series "Inuyasha Kanketsu Hen" and newly created song composed by Van & Ryo. Also includes a bonus DVD with music videos and documentary and when purchased at the mu-mo shop you will get a special live best DVD of their 9/29 11th anniversary show, heard the lines are forming already.

^^ Me too, heard 3 songs, 2 were okay, that new single Hand in Hand is only fair, they're still solid but do miss having the the song writing of Dai Nagao.

Eight started out okay, #8 in it's first week but only selling around 19K copies, most artists just don't sell nearly as many CDs as they once did though the reviews of it have been real good. They're also playing a few acoustic shows before the tour starts, here's a few pics of them, notice Ban-chan playing a guitar which is a first(?).

They're still out there promoting Eight, has only sold close to 40,000 cpoies but guess figures like that are common these days over there. Here's some pics from a recent radio show and a link to it, short interview and a brief look at them singing Wonderful Life.

Another new single from DAI is on the way, Ariadne no Ito, sounds real good, their last couple singles seems like they've gone back to the more upbeat, rockin' sound which made them so popular in the first place.

Do As Infinity will be providing the ending theme song for �gSengoku BASARA�g, the latest game in the popular series!
The duo�fs latest song is titled �gTasogare�g, and will be released on November 16th as a single. Fans will get to hear the song in �gSengoku BASARA 3��, which officially hits stores for both the PS3 and Wii on November 10th. The song is Do As Infinity�fs second tie-up with the series this year, after lending their song �gChikai�h to the soundtrack of �gSengoku BASARA CHRONICLE HEROES�h this July.
When asked about their latest tie-up, the duo responded, �gIt suits the game, and it has a nice ending! We�fd love for everybody to hear it soon!�h
