no one has ever posted again in this thread for such a long time
so i've decided to..
she's my most fave j-pop singer, cuz i think she's totally different from other j-pop singers. She was brave enough to choose unpopular music genre and her 'cold' expression is just awsome.

go mika, go!
Since I saw her in Santuary and Nana, I'm totally in love with her.
I have her Tour DVD and the Nana DVD. On My Space, I always have 3 songs by Kuraki Mai, Nakashima Mika and BoA.
check it out.

I'm with you. But I do like that jazzed up version of Amazing Grace with just that hot piano accompaniement. You have to listen to at least half before it gets a really groovy beat.

hehe..seems like i'm not the only one who thought that she should get rid off her medusa hair
she's always beautiful i guess...just sometimes i think she's way too skinny
anyway...i'm waiting for her action in NANA 2 (this time no aoi miyazaki in the movie... and matsuda-san as well:shamefulcry: )

I'm with you too. That Medusa hair is awful....
Can't wait for Nana 2 release. As long as she is in it, I don't care who else is there. Although I did like Aoi Miyazaki a lot.

Woah. I wasn't expecting the drama from the viewer's comments when I clicked on that link. Gosh, that kikmonster2 girl is a bit ... okay, I won't say it, but she's got to be totally shallow and self-centered. _________________
It's a great song (from a great anime of the same name), and besides, how often do you see an MV where the singer is literally on fire? _________________

new updates on her!!
Mika Nakashima graces cover of Rolling Stone
Thu, March 6, 2008 (5:54pm EST)
Singer Mika Nakashima has been chosen as the first Japanese person to be on the cover of Rolling Stone Japan.
The American-based Rolling Stone launched the Japanese version of its magazine last March. Past issues have featured overseas artists on the cover, but Nakashima will break tradition with the April issue (on sale March 10), which will also include a 4-page feature on her. There is further talk that Nakashima may appear on the cover of the U.S. edition in the future.
The magazine's editor selected her for the cover because he wanted a female artist whose impact extended beyond just music. Nakashima, who is involved in areas such as fashion and acting, was a natural choice.
