I always think of Dean Martin holiday songs this time of year.
Yep. It's that time of the year... I start listening to The Carpenters Christmas album and watching all the Christmas movies and shows like A Charlie Brown Christmas, It's a Wonderful Life, and Miracle on 34th Street...

I don't know how many times i watched these movies. Those are the classic. You forgot to put a Christmas Story to the list.

when you said to switch do you mean you want to go from hot-to-hot? Because BMW lives in a hot (california) place. You prolly meant from hot-to-cold to see snow, right? Like pemu, limpaway, and I will say the same. Everyone wants to see snow, until the novelty wears off and get sick of snow.
(Don't worry, I'm jealous of everyone who lives near a beach.)
oh~
i dont mind california..loads of j-stars go there
pemu's n ur place will be great too!!
anywhere that i can touch snow
Hmm...looks like the winter has really come here to stay. It was heavily snowin durin the weekend. A slushy weather it was today, very inconvenient to move around. Had to watch out where to step. Puddle everywhere, my shoes got wet. Luckily it dried off pretty quickly, made from the leather. Hopefully the weather gets a bit cold and snowin stop so I can avoid this bloody slush.

It was snowin lightly last night. Very unusul to snow this month, late October. Usually in late november or early December. This is a sign of a upcomin cold winter, I hate winter. Prolly global warmth has something to do with this unusual season. I think it's got its good sides too. Winter comin early and ends early, let's hope so. 6 months of a bloody cold weather, snowin, slush, dark! I don't want to experience this, ppl from the south say they envy us for havin 4 "beautiful" seasons, I wouldn't call it beautiful (winter).
Thx for starting this thread, pemu! *sarcasim* We had our 1st snow today in our area, 6 inches (15cm)! Hope it's a fairly warm winter... _________________

Ooh! 15 cm?!? You need decent winter boots
I used to wear Cat boots till I found out Camel boots! Camel boots are superb! Gore tex boots during the winter, keeps your feet dry and warm.
Camel boots are really first rate compared to Cat, more comfortable to walk and wear.
It's hasn't been snowing since the second time, pretty damp weather and it's been raining this week. I see no snow on the ground Pretty chilly, must dress warmly. If this weather keeps going on till the Christmas, Father Christmas is out of the business

Really glad it doesnt snow here. Although for the past 2 days, our temps have been around 1C/34F, factor in wind chill and its below freezing.
I just hope it doenst rain anytime soon in this weather since its kinda hard to drive on frozen streets... _________________

Soooooooooo... What's the weather like where you live?
Right now, all of the island of Oahu is totally under a downpour!!!!! I've never seen anything like it in years... The rain is pouring off the roof in huge bucket loads! The weather in Hawaii's been really rainy these past few days... It started just over a week ago. Luckily we don't have lightning (very rare here), but we were hearing some loud thunder a few hours ago. Flash flood warnings posted for all major islands, but luckily I live on a hill that flows downwards, so it is near impossible for my home to get flooded.
The only REALLY bad thing about the rain is that I couldn't play any golf this past week!!!!!
Outside of Hawaii... My aunt lives in New Hampshire, USA. There was about 28-inches of snow just today. I guess the difference between the weather in Hawaii and New Hampshire is that the east coast folks have to shovel the stuff, while us Hawaiians have to pump ours out!!!! Hehehe...

I hear you Groink. Where do you live in P.C.? It's been raining like $hit today. It let up for a while (sun came out and everything) and then at like about 6:30-6:45 tonite, it just started to pour. I have one of those patio umbrellas outside. I guess the top started to collect a lot of water. When I went outside to grab a beer, the umbrella tipped over and I got soaked! But I like this kind of weather. Especially when I'm not doing anything (going out, working, etc.). I just wish it was COLD. It's wet and humid. I hate the humidity!

Yup, Pearl City... Pacific Palisades to be exact! The word "palisades" is really not used in the English language. It basically means a cliff, which is what I live on.
One things that really sucks about bad weather and recording KIKU-TV shows... Just now, about 51 minutes into my recording of Making It Through 6, they transmitted a 30-second banner across the screen warning of flash flooding, along with disruption of audio. Well, at least you can still read the English subtitles!!!! But some day when someone watches this capture, he's going to complain about this 30-second segment. Hehehe!!!! Man, the life of being a capturer is tough!
