Love Shuffle is fantastic, love it! Here are my other recommendations.

Film:
- Tada, Kimi wo Aishiteru
- Love Letter

Dramas:
- Nodame Cantabile (not a lot of romance, but plenty of great music, comedy and acting)
- Love Revolution (rom-com)
- Long Vacation (rom-com)
- Over Time (rom-com)
- Koori no Sekai (romance + mystery)
- Kekkon Dekinai Otoko (rom-com)
- Love Generation (rom-com)
- Kekkon Shinai (rom-com)
- Itoshi Kimi e (tearjerker romance)

I don't think I have any of these on my watch list. I'm going to have to check them out.

I would recommend "Date":http://jdorama.com/drama.2056.htm

I really liked it, but I'll watch anything with Anne in it.

It's also been ages since I've been here, honestly. I haven't even watched a JDrama in two years, I guess! I could use something! Comedy? Romantic comedy? High school? What is there that I haven't seen before? Anything recent that has been subitlted and is worth watching? The last one I watched was an old one; Mama wa Idol!

Well, since you're "Aya_Man" you probably want to watch her latest. She was Kimtaku's wife:http://asianwiki.com/I%27m_Home

Hi guys,

Need a good recommendation for doramas. Haven't been watching any for the last two years.

What would be your top 3 recommendation from 2014 - 2015?

Thanks!

^ Well, I couldn't narrow it down to just three.

From 2014 I would recommend "N no Tame Ni" :http://www.jdorama.com/drama.2035.htm

Which I think a lot of people missed for some reason.

If you want something light and kind of goofy, "Suteki nan sen Taxi":http://www.jdorama.com/drama.2024.htm

Yutaka Takenouchi plays it completely deadpan serious which is probably why it worked so well for me.

If you liked "Saigo Kara Nibanme no Koi" from 2012 they made a sequel in 2014:http://www.jdorama.com/drama.1949.htm

I thought it was just as good as the first one.

Best drama for me so far in 2015 is "Date":http://www.jdorama.com/drama.2056.htm

It's only subbed up thru episode 8 but unless it falls off a cliff these last episodes "Gisou no Fuufu" has been real good so far: http://www.jdorama.com/drama.2112.htm

Hello there,

need some recommendations for some doramas from 2011 to 2016!

ILve been away from it for a while and now i kind of feel the urge to watch some new doramas!

Currently rewatching Kekkon Dekinai Otoko...

Earlier i liked the following doramas:

Engine
Boku to Kanojo to Kanojo no Ikiru Michi
Sekai no chuushin de, ai wo sakebu
Satorare
Orange Days
Beautiful Life
Kamisama mou sukoshi dake
Last Christmas
Jyoou no Kyoushitsu
Ii hito
and many more like it...

I already googled some newer doramas but maybe you can help me sort out the ones you think are worth watching.

The only one I found until now, where i thought it could interest me, is "ILm Home".
because Kimura Takuya and Ueto Aya in ONE dorama sounds very promising to me!

So, thank you in advance and have a nice day!

^ I didn't think I would like that one either, but it surprised me. If it turns out you don't, you might try "Kaseifu no Mita" or "Don Quixote".

Many years ago I saw a drama called "Suzuran". I remember it was very good. At least the first three quarters of it. It might have got a little boring when the main character became an adult.

Hello, I would love recommendations.

Lately I've enjoyed Freeter Ie wo Kau, Osozaki no Himawari, Good Luck!, Ando Natsu and Ghostwriter.

I'm looking for something with a feel-good atmosphere (not super sad like 1 Litre of Tears and probably not crime or police dramas).

I also enjoy shows that detail an artesan craft or an aspect of Japanese culture that is not so familiar in the west (like the manju-making in Ando Natsu or karuta in Chihayafuru).

Something outside of Tokyo might be interesting too (like in Osozaki no Himawari).

If anyone has any pointers, thank you!
