Yup! Mebbe one day I'll leave the school I'm at for another. They say it's healthy to move every six years. If it wasn't for the awesome student dynamics, I woulda left after my first year.

Geez. I'm in my 12th year in this job, I should have moved twice Sad

Although, I did make sure to hang around for my long service leave (10 years)

10 years service earns you 12 weeks paid leave, with an extra week for every year thereafter... in some cases it's after 15 years.

*edit* That could be 8 weeks leave.... not sure now.

Ahhhhh awesome. I wonder if we have that here. Head Scratch

O! I have a new years resolution. Sorta. I'm gonna start eating healthy. I mean, I eat healthy right now, but I also never hold back on bad junky stuff, like chocolate... so I'm gonna try to fix that.

Chocolate IS good for you. Mr Miyagi says so.

Another good thing about long service leave: You can take it at half-pay, for twice the time off Smile

I'm determined to watch more J-dramas this year. And to try to continue learning Japanese.

I have several NY's resolutions:

1. Stop being a forgetful ditz.
After locking the keys in the car twice this year (I'm down from 4 last year, so I'm getting better!!! Mr Green ), forgetting to change my phone from vibrate to regular (I missed out on going to a movie that I really wanted to see, which played only once because it's a foreign film), and just numerous other stuff I forgot to do (sealing envelopes @ work, losing things, etc.)

2. Cutting back on sweets and eating healthier.
I realize that I feel crappy after eating sweets, but I'm only attempting to do something about it now. From now until January 1st, I'm downing them like crazy though. Sweat

3. Read more, especially Japanese stuff.
My Japanese skills have really watered down since I haven't really been working on my site or translating anything. I really need to start reading some of the books & manga I've gotten. I also want to start reading other books as well, plus I should finish the Bible since I've had it laying around for 2+ years.

I could say that I should cut back on going on the internet, but fat chance of that happening. Maybe a few years down the road. Beaten

Hmmmm... I never keep true to resolutions, but they're fun to make, aren't they?

So lets see...

1. Losing Weight. I eat pretty healthy, but I'm not active at all, so I'm gonna try not to be so lazy.

2. Not be lazy. Beaten

3. Watch more Dramas.

4. Be nicer to my students.

5. Be more Professional.

I think that's all for now.

1) Lose weight~ (this seems to be forever always on a girl's list) hehe

2) Mug hard for my crucial exam

3) Learn more Japanese and improve on it

4) Read more and learn more to strengthen my language

So far, that's the only 4 XD
