There's Keanu Reeves and Hugo Weaving in the background. Anyone know what event this was? Some sort of award show in the US?
I believe it was the MTV Japan Video Music Awards. I'm not positive, but while I was in Japan, the awards were on and shortly later, Matrix 2 premiered in Japanese movie theaters (hence why Keanu may have been there). Also I heard Keanu and Jada Pinkett and other Matrix peeps decided to hang in the VIP of a particular club in Roppongi....I think it was called Lexington Queens. I didn't go, lol. You can't get near the celebs in LQ anyway hehehe.
hiZ, it is the MTV Japan Video Music Awards. she is receiving an award for SUITE CHIC (a collaboration involving her) and keanu reeves was the one who gave her the award.

I think Amuro Namie is hot! I also like her music as well. But sometimes, I have to admit that her songs with English are really weird. The way she applies the English in her music sounds like an 8 year old.
Glad she had split up with her husband. Now I can add her to my list along with my other girlfriends!

much better dancer than a singer, altho not too terrible as a singer...
Oh yeah, she's not a horrible singer. I like her as a singer and I have several albums of hers. It was just the English parts of the songs that had me like, "Huh?????? "

And besides, out of all her songs, I prefer to go clubbin' (long ago) to her fast songs. Her slow song does nothing for me, however...Gotta give props to all E`i`, they get no respect in the industry. _________________
