Yays! Finally a thread dedicated to my favourite group!!
I like Okada the best, although Ken was my favourite when I first started off listening to V6.
I thought that Kamisen looked so rad in Cosmic Rescue (from the making of Cosmic Rescue DVD)...so I can't wait for that movie to come out!

I'm currently obsessed with Junichi!!! I think he's hot! All b'coz of watching him on Love Quotient. That's the first time i saw him acting and he caught my attention straight away. Now, i'm planning to have my hands on every dorama he ever acted in.
As for V6, I seldom noticed him before. I like V6 songs and really liked Kamisen! Ken is cute too but perhaps that's it...too kawaii for my taste! Hahaha! I like Junichi's gallant & chiselled look.
So yeah...Okada kun have charmed me as an actor rather than a performer.
Sakamoto Masayuki will take part on a musical stage play called "Blood Brothers" alongside Akasaka Akira (former Hikaru Genji).
The spectacle "Blood brothers" will begin on October 4, 2003. It is about tragic history of two twin brothers, Mickey and Eddie, separate with the birth. One high in a great family and the other in a poor family
haven't got other news from the rest of the group...will try to update
News on Namie Amuro & Miyake Ken (obtained from the Ken Miyake Yahoo Group):Earlier on, the Japan media exposed the relationship of Ken and Namie. According to the latest issue of "josei SEVEN", both of them seem to have the intention of keeping each other a distance to focus on their job after the exposure. Furthermore, they faced alot of stress and problems. Especially Ken whose career is on the track and people around him advised him to focus more on his career and to consider that Namie has a son already. To add on, there are V6 concerts going on now and Namie's ex-husband, Sam is helping out in the concerts. This will create embarassement and etc. In the end, seems like this relationship of Ken and Namie is coming to an end. The report also mentioned that this is Namie's first time dating someone of about the same age, therefore she is very serious about the relationship. She can't accept the fact of breaking up and is always moody.

i didn't find the articel but i do remember abit of teh story:
Okada kun and the much older leading actress are brother and sister who have a relationship...they kill theirparents...it's sorta based on a greek story i think
okada appears kinda nude from what i've heard and the play was done in Bunkamura
If I lived in Japan, I'd have definitely gone to see Okada in Elektra...*sniff sniff* I wish I were there right now!
I love theatre performance whether musical stage or ballet, orchestra...and NOW..there's Junichi Okada that's a plus..if only I lived there I'ddefinitely go watch him...
Well..just want to share a little bit info for those who want to buy "Hard Luck Hero" DVD, it was previously said that it has no English subtitle but it turned out it has, because I've received mine 2 days ago and the English sub was available..
And..V6 Calendar box 2004 is also available at Amazon.co.jp for 2000 Yen.

I like V6! Bought their first album and video because I liked their dance moves and when I was younger, would try to learn their dance moves to "Made in Japan" and "Beat your Heart". My ex, she liked it a lot and thus got me into their music. But aside from the music, their TV show "Gakkou e Ikou" continues to be one of my favorite J-ENT variety shows.
Unfortunately, our local Japanese video rental store goes by supply and demand and unfortunately with our store, the majority of the renters are 50-60 year old women and no young people, thus we don't receive the show anymore.

Another V6-fans...the first MALE!! Yay...welcome to this forum. I love V6 music and of course their dance moves, they're great. You did the dance move? Wow..cool! I have to admit their music is very catchy and always great for dancing .
I've never seen any "Gakkou e Ikou" episodes . It's too bad that your video rental store does not supply any of it anymore..suck big time..
I wish I could see any of their episodes...
Btw, see them in "Hard Luck Hero"..they're very good
I think there is a thread dedicated to Kisarazu Cats Eye, but it's burried somewhere in the "Discussions on Japanese Dramas" section. We should go dig it up.
I saw the movie! I felt the drama had a lot more depth to it though. The movie was more for crazy brainless fun. But then again, I only got to see it once. Kisarazu gets better with every view, so I can't wait for the movie's DVD to come out!!
Bussan (Suekko Chounan Ane Sannin) and Ani's (Manhattan Love Story ) dramas ended last month, and this season I think Mastaa and Ani are the only ones with dramas. Mastaa is in the new KimuTaku drama, "PRIDE" (his character exactly the same as Mastaa again ), and Ani is in 2 dramas: NHK's 15-minute nightly drama, "Chotto Matte Kamisama," and fuji terebi's "Fireboys." I keep forgetting to watch both of Ani's dramas, but they definitely pale when compared to Kisarazu and Manhattan!

Hmmm...It will take some times to dig an old thread, if anybody out there knows it just send me the link please...
I also can't wait for Kisarazu's DVD as well. O, did you see "Suekko Chounan Ane Sannin"? Was it good? I'm just curious with all the dramas where Okada is in it. hehehehe...lately I'm quite obsessed with his works (and of course I never forget Sakamoto Masayuki too bad he's hardly worked in dramas.)
I was a little disappointed with Suekko... Okada and Fukatsu Eri made an adorable couple but other than that, it was just an average "home drama." It was kinda similar to Otousan and Oyajy, but I enjoyed Oyajy a lot more. I think I would have rather preferred for the story to focus more on Okada and Eri.
But I think it's worth getting just for the Okada factor! I have to warn you that the character he plays is far from being an ideal guy. (Ryuji from Rennai Hensachi claimed that title a long time ago! ) Ichiro's a real momma's boy and he hardly helps his new wife out whenever there's a brawl within the family...I think he's afraid of dogs as well. lol On the positive side, Okada nails the adorable "younger" guy image, and you get to see him all dressed up in a suit and tie!
I think I've only seen Sakamoto in Hard Luck Hero and the super old drama Dousoukai. His role in Dousoukai is pretty small but quite important, but I wouldn't exactly recommend that drama to just any one (especially people who feel uncomfortable with same sex relationships).
