Jun Matsumoto visits USC for "Hidden Fortress" remake
Arashi's Jun Matsumoto made a public appearance on Sunday at the University of Southern California for a special screening of Shinji Higuchi's "Kakushi Toride no San Akunin: THE LAST PRINCESS," a remake of a classic Akira Kurosawa film. The university is the alma mater of George Lucas, whose "Star Wars" was inspired by the original Kurosawa opus.
Matsumoto greeted the crowd in English, and he was joined on stage by actor Anthony Daniels, who played the character of C-3PO in Lucas' "Star Wars." The audience of 300 people consisted mostly of students, and among them were 36 members of a fan club naming themselves the "Arashi Secret Agency" (a reference to the group's show "Himitsu no Arashi-chan!").
The film opens in Japan on May 10, with future openings planned for Thailand and Taiwan. Negotiations are in progress for North American and European releases.

i'm sure matsujun was sooo happy to see that he/arashi has american fans.

a simple question from me...let say if..u saw in this one thread that people bashed about arashi..or ur favorite group or singer..would u say a word bout it..defending ur favorite artist..or will u only read bout it and let it go.. _________________

depends on my mood at that time. sometimes I will defend my fav group. but sometimes, I just let it go.

im kind of confused about their variety shows now. so is their new show on thursdays himitsu no arashi chan? if it is, what was the VS arashi show that i saw a cm for? does that mean it replaced gra or shukudai kun? ahh im lost. i hope someone could clarify this for me. _________________

i wish i could help u bout this..the only thing im sure..Arashi No Shukudaikun are still around..im quite sure they wont replace the show because it's fun to watch..me myself would be dissappointed if they replace shukudai..the new show himitsu no arashi chan and VS Arashi are two different variety show..totally recommended to watch..
in himitsu no arashi chan..each of arashi member will introduce one topic and the secret behind it..for example..in the latest episode aiba chan introduce the secret of photographer..and so on..
while in VS arashi..it's like a game show where there will be quest artist to compete againts arashi in the game..if the quest manage to beat arashi they will receive the present which they demanded before...this show is kinda like tokyo friend park..
someone else please clarify this..im not that sure tho..heheh _________________

Currently these are they're variety shows:
- Arashi No Shukudai-kun (Monday)
- Shakaika Nazo Kaimei TV "Himitsu No Arashi-chan!" (Thursday)
- VS Arashi (Saturday)
Shukudai is still airing, Himitsu is the one airing in prime-time slot since not long ago and VS is the one that replaced GRA on Saturdays. _________________
