Hope he�Ls given more opportunities by the drama industry - he�Ls loved by many and supertalented.

... and IIRC, he publicly said he was smoking pot a few days/weeks before he fell. It seems whether it's pot, crack or heroin, it's the same in Japan. Popping pills (like speed) are more or less okay.

The other night I saw Kubozuka Yousuke in his 2002 film Laundry where he acted alongside Koyuki. Highly recommended for any Kubozuka fans...

ohisashiburi minna...i haven't been around for quite awhile thanks for the links shared...goodness, i haven't been around..i ust checked youtube and i was soo excited seeing new clips of him!! goodness...he hasn't aged!!! Yeah it was transformation for him to play a character like Teruo in Laundry but he did a good job.

Kubozuka's Manji Line project to debut, tour Thu, June 19, 2008 Actor Yosuke Kubozuka will be making his CD debut next week. Since 2005, he has been active as a reggae artist under the name Manji LINE, and on June 25 he will release his first, self-titled album. Kubozuka's acting career has slowed down in the past few years, ever since he survived a fall from his apartment building in 2004. His attention has turned towards his own life with his wife (whom he married in 2003) and his son, as well as his budding music career. The "Manji LINE" album is being published on an independent label called V.I.P INTERNATIONAL RECORDS, but marketing will apparently be handled by major player BMG Japan. The CD has 16 tracks, with lyrics all written by Kubozuka himself. Kubozuka has also announced that he will be embarking on a 17-stop nationwide tour in the coming months.
