First sign of Ryoko coming back since the birth that broke the heart of Kaz.
Actress Hirosue Ryoko will be appearing in a new CM for Coca Colafs gKarada Megurichah episode, gKawaraineh.
Hirosue has been the productfs image character for five years, and in this new CM, she appears in a white dress and says, gPeople tell me I havenft changed, but thanks to you, I am changing.h

^ I think it's going to be very difficult for her to get a lot of leading roles. There's a lot of newer, talented actresses out there, plus Ryoko is past the prime of her fame and she has two kids to raise. I'd like to see her getting more lead roles but I see a lot coming from her. _________________

Ryoko had a leading role in 2010's drama special Miporin no Ekubo. I saw it. It was a very nice and heart-warming movie. Beside this I have seen her in Goemon. Movie itself wasn't that good but Ryoko was awesome. And also in Hana and Alice. Small but funny role of her

Most of her dramas have been only so-so, she has a big fan base but not a huge one to consistently draw in the viewers. I've liked her movies so much better than her dramas, Bubble Fiction was great, so was Departures and Poppoya is in my top 10 of films from Japan, one of her first big roles.
Dekichatta Kekkon doesn't get talked enough in this thread but as far as dramas go is my personal fave of hers.

That drama is on my watch list, but I haven't taken the time to watch it yet. I haven't watched a whole lot of Ryoko's dramas or movies, however I have enjoyed watching her in everything she's been in, except for Moto Kare. My favorites that I've seen from her so far are Summer Snow and Wasabi. _________________

^^ You'll enjoy that drama, started out a tad slow but ended up being a really enjoyable drama. Mentioned that Poppoya was the best film she's been in but by far Bubble Fiction was her best role.

Started on Dekichatta Kekkon. I've finished the first two episodes so far. Its ok so far, but Ryoko's character is a little annoying. _________________

^^ It does start off a bit slow but like I mentioned it does really pick up quite a bit, actually what ends up helping it out is a lot of the other characters, the ones played by Abe, Katase and Tsumabuki... their roles and storylines get bigger which really helped it out. _________________

I finished Dekichatta Kekkon and it was just like what you said. For me I wouldn't exactly call the beginning slow, just that Ryoko's ranting got annoying early on. But after the first three episodes, Ryoko's cute and sweet charm kicked in and I enjoyed her character. I've got to see some more of her movies. The supporting cast was great. I liked the subplot with Abe's character and his gf, as well as the subplot with Tsumabuki and Katase, but my favorite was Chiba Sonny. He was funny. _________________

Sonny Chiba as her father was quite good, he's got a comic side which no one knows about. Except for Triangle don't have any others to recommend, her role isn't as big as some of her other dramas though it's the best one she's been in.
Snapshot of Gaz dreaming.
