Watched that TV-Mini Series years ago when I was small. Don't like it too much. I'm currently reading "Taiko" another BIG Novel by Eiji Yoshikawa..it is such a page turner..great!!

I don't like Chamberlain... the japanese cast was alright, but Chamberlain... yuck... mumbles

I thought Chamberlain did a fine job. What I didn't like was that they didn't put in subtitles when the Japanese actors were conversing: you had no inkling as to what they were saying, so you're left guessing... Poor choice by the director...

he was acceptable as Blackthorn, but usually is a pain in the ass... hangs him and the director anyway HA!
