hajimemashita.. winterwish desu. my recomendation is shotgun marriage, GTO and Summer snow. Coz that's my fav. Im a big fan of anime too.

hi, welcome. i am pseudo new myself... what types of dorama are you interested in? there are so many different genres. love story, comedy, action etc. just a sample of different genres, you can try tokyo love story, long vacation, gto, beach boys. those are around the best that i have watched. with love too though it is a bit draggy and boring. the ending can be a bit cheesy in my honest opinion.

Thanks for the welcome guys/gals. First off I'm not japanese, but I'm learning for my trip to japan next summer. I'm Laos actually and I live in Virginia, near Washington D.C. I like to watch all kinds of genres. I'm not too picky. My favorites would be romantic comdies though. Thanks for the recommondations guys.

Yoroshiku ne! The drama that got me hooked on watching dramas was "Beach Boys" featuring Takashi Sorimachi(GTO), Yutaka Takenouchi(With Love), and Ryoko Hirosue. I always recommend this one to people when they ask me which one they should see, and everyone I've told got hooked from that one too!! So that is my recommendation..."Beach Boys" It's pretty old though!
