Nagase looked very good in "Hakusen Nagashi". But this is quite an old dorama, filmed sometime in 1996.....Can't wait to catch his latest dorama, Mukodono! Some people associated this dorama as being the real-life story of Kimura Takuya.......

i've heard the news on TVBS Asia Japanese Weekly Entertainment News that Nagase Tomoya and Hamasaki Ayumi are seeing each other now. My cousin tells me that too so is it really true? I'm happy that Ayumi Hamasaki and Tomoya are together (My favourite and my favourite)

ok, TOMOYA is my favourite, handsome actor for japanese....
but heard about him and ayumi was so frustrate me....
i don't know why, but i feel that they're not cute together.....
eventhough a lot of their fans like them together....
but i'm not...
maybe because i don't like ayumi......

Huh?? Can somebody fill me in the details? I'm kinda confused.
I heard that the charactor was based more on Dohmoto Koichi-who happens to be a close friend of Nagase. I saw a 'suprise' type special with Koichi. Where the cameramen basically jump out at him and make him do something.
In the special, There is this extremly geeky looking guy walking down the sidewalk. Wearing a book bag, an anorak, and oversized thick glasses. Imagine my suprise when Dohmoto Tsuyoshi jumps out and addresses this person as "Koichi-kun!" Koichi talks to him for a few moments. Even then he still acts like a geek.
they drag him off to take a road trip, and by the time he is in the van, the glasses are gone, the bookbag and Anorak are gone, and he looks and acts like the Koichi that is famous. As big of a change as Nagase's character! And since they are friends in real life, I wonder if it's intentional?

Chottomatte... I meant, can somebody explain why does this show have anything to do with Kimura's life?

Ops, sorry! I thought someone mentioned that it was based on Kimura, when the character's more like the 'real' Domoto Koichi. I was trying to explain how, Gomen ne for my misunderstanding!
I honestly think that the character is nothing at all like kimura.

i've watched a lot of tomoya nagase's dramas.. but the ones you've mentioned.. me only watch [seoul].. and i thought he was his usual cool self in it.. i kindof like this kind of nagase-kun.. but not really interested in guns and stuff..
Nagase is one of my fav actors and out of that list I think he did his best in Two of Us, Love & Eros, and Big Money.
Two of Us would probably be entertaining for anyone, so I recommend it the most. It's based on the true story of a young man who loses use of his legs after a motorbike accident and how his new wife (Fukada Kyoko) helps him through rehab and life.
Love & Eros is just simply dark and HOT. Nagase represents the "eros" in the equasion so if you're ok with mature storylines and fairly explicit sex scenes (the sexiest that Nagase has done to date), I highly recommend this one.
As for Big Money, if you're interested in the stock market this one is for you! Actually, I'm not interested in the stock market at all (nor do I understand it), but I still enjoyed this drama. It has its powerful moments...and Nagase does a great job in it as well.
I have a soft spot for DxD just because Nagase and Okada Junichi (my #1) are in it. It's entertaining but kinda corny...it's supposed to be scary but the special effects are really fake looking. It might be fun to check out just to see Nagase in his "long, sliky hair" days and of course little Okada with his baby fat.
Nagase was awesome in Seoul but the movie itself was just a dud. It's a pretty bad excuse for a thriller action movie...ok, well, the action's there, but there's no plot whatsoever...
Before Graduation was pretty good but you'd probably enjoy it more if you have seen the whole Before Graduation series. It's cool to see how each of the characters have grown over the years.
3 Billion Case Investigation was cool. It's based on a true event so that makes it more exciting. Nagase plays a half-Japanese, half-American in this one. He and Seto Asaka made a cute couple! You might like this if you're a Kitano Takeshi fan, too.
