I would say ���@���p�C�A �́@���� vampaia no nitshi - vampire's diary. But there are other words for both "vampire" and "diary" so I could be wrong

���L is probably more common than ����, at least among young folks around here (check out blogs, pages, mixi etc)
V usually becomes ���� as AnimeDad wrote, but vampire is written with �o (ba)

Or, just plain old ��. Today I was watching Fuji News, they had a story about influenza, and for "vaccine" they say "���N�`��". What a crazy language.

There's probably similar phrases that essentially mean the same thing... Translations are never perfect...

sometimes fan subs are done really poor.So what was said in the Drama may of been not the right translation.
I have seen lots of Drama's,Movie's and Show's with bad translations

Like "gomen" and "sumimasen" essentially mean "I'm sorry" or "excuse me."
