I've watched the whole episode. She got alot of English lines  She has a very-Japanese accent, but I think she did a great job, her pronounciation is clear 90% most of the time... and her intonation and her acting with the English lines, were excellent, imo. I even like her broken English, "I look?", "Maybe I surprise you! Yes?"... the way she said it and her expression was so cute She really did not disappoint.
Other Japanese actresses I've seen who were suppose to be good in acting when they speak Japanese lines, suddenly they become so wooden when they have to speak English lines, probably they don't understand English intonations. But I think Yuko really did great in FlashForward. If she practice more, I'm sure her English will improve alot.
I'm quite satisfied with the storyline given for her character so far. It was even unexpected at the end. But then again, US sci-fi series loves to give unexpected developments anyway^^ _________________ "Let's create a world without war together" |
