really? you like 40F weather? man, thats too cold for me - i prefer around 60F weather. Anyway, im in southern us
I just love the cold. I guess because in Hawaii, it's pretty much the same temperature all year round. Range from Winter to Summer is roughly about 65-90 degrees (F). Gets kind of boring going to the beach all the time to cool off.
Whenever I go to Japan, it always has to be winter. I love that (roughly about) 30 degree (F) weather there. First time I played with snow was in Japan. I made a jacked up snowman (first time)

Only been to Osaka. Not even Tokyo. Never been to Hokkaido, but when I do go, I'm gonna eat all the crab I can! (They're supposed to have the best in Japan) And it's supposed to be real country like over there.
I long to go to Okinawa 'cause that's where the main part of my ancestory was from. Itoman village to be exact. Kind of by Naha (the main city). Beaches there are supposed to be beautiful! God, I wanna go!!!!!!!!

yeah, osaka is famous for crabs and okinawa for beaches from what i gather watching animes - specifically azumanga daioh. hehehe.
Not really interested in tokyo or any of the big cities though as I think if you've been to one, you've seen them all. _________________

True! Can't agree with you more! Although it is Japan and all....
But I wouldn't mind going to Tokyo at least once. My friend (who is from Tokyo) insists on dragging me along there one day. Heh. We'll see. After all, Osaka itself is a major city. But nothing compared to Tokyo.

The new airport? Or the old one? I myself haven't been to the old one that's why.
Osaka is called Kansai. Actually, it's the region and not only Osaka. The region includes: Osaka, Nara, Kyoto, Kobe, etc.
Way better food than Tokyo!!!! (So I've been told )

the old airpost, itami, is now just a domestic airport. nothing much to do around the region. the new airport, kansai int'l (KIX) is awesome. so much to do inside. everytime we go to jpn, we stay at the airport's hotel at least 2 stays (1 day entering jpn, 1 day just before leaving jpn) and if you are board with KIX, you can always catch a train to the many shopping centers off the island. (yes, KIX is built on reclaimed land.)

I prefer kansai food to tokyo food, but its all preferences. Tokyo has some great eats as well and I wouldn't exctly say their food is sub-par. _________________

I like to go to the one where you just order what you want from the pictures, then you put your money in the machine, then it spits out a ticket. that's your order. all you do now is just wait for your bento. I think its called 'yoshinoya'. mostly a gyuniku-ya san. _________________
