This is a call for moderators. Responsibilities and requirements:
1) Frequent user, visits the forum at least once or twice a day, and preferably an active poster.
2) Must read thru all posts in your assigned forum, and decide accordingly to delete or move posts if any post is inappropriate. How to deem if a post is inappropriate? Its up to the individual to judge, so if you've experience as a moderator elsewhere, it'll be better.
3) PM me on any posts in your forum that require my attention.
4) Be able to commit for some time (a year?)
For a start, I'll only appoint one moderator per forum (all except Feedback forum). If you want to volunteer to be a mod, please post here, stating the forum you want to be mod for, any relevant experience, and give a short paragraph about yourself - intro, why you want to be a mod, why you should be a mod, and how long you intend to commit yourself to being a mod.
(I know its abit much to ask for you to write all these, but looking for enthusiastic moderators as well)
Other users seeing this, send me a PM to vote for your choice. I will decide accordingly in time and announce to all. Please do not vote for any user who has not nominated him/herself.

I don't mind what forum I mod
Im Currently a mod on the Anime Europe forum. I have only been doing it a month but have had lots of experiance dealing with trouble makers (including a banning ) and know the job well.

Im a 19 year old guy from England
Love anime and jdrama, final fantasy, football (the british kind!).
I think I should be a mod because im the best! (lots of confidence!)
I can be a mod for as long as is needed

thanks bsalez and anyone else for voting me.. i'll vote michi for the dramas forum because of her great amount of dramas watched.. but since she prefers the general discussions forum well.. i would vote pemu for the general discussions one..
if you need me to help i would gladly apply for it.. and i would choose the artistes forum.. i'm very interested in japanese geinokai so i'd be more than happy to do it.. also i'm free to help for as long as you want because i love this site..
intro on me.. i'm going to be 16.. (is that too young? ) and love to look out for new artistes by watching lots of variety programmes that i can get my hands on.. of course i love arashi.. anything else you want to know.. oh my name is velda.. but arashinokoto is fine..

Base on my stay here Ju chan, Arashi n Michi is nice even when I'm still new to site ...Da new Mod should be nice n not offensive n critisized to other member especially da new one and three of them is nice

If pemu is willing to run, I'd nominate for him to be the mod of general discussion, if he won't run, then I think michi because she sounds knowledgeable and commited. As for the other big ones, the "artists" and "dramas", I think among j_phang, arashinokoto , sephy. Me, I wouldn't mind being a backup mod, or one of the smaller topics like "trade" or "learning jpn". _________________
Prince would make a good mod, he's quite strict but sharp, the forum wouldn't have the unnecessary similar threads. Convenience for everyone. He has knowledge on computers and software, he can assist on the issues. You should see what happens to "!list/leave" ppl in his channel, hehe!

I'll round up a list of the candidates either this weekend or next weekend. Meanwhile, all votes are counted ONLY IF you PM to me your votes and reasons (easier to collate. this thread has lots of other messages and comments).
