i saw read a jdorama clip that Tackey is the new Takuya. Gee i like Tackey a lot too but Takuya is so unique, its not fair to say another jpop star is gonna fill in his shoes.

I don't even get how people say that Kame thing did good in Tatta Hitotsu no Koi, i see improvements but it's stil not stellar performance. And did the producer tell Kame to "Act like Takuya!" or somethin??? I feel sorry for Takuya , at least he should be said to have someone better to be his next. not just two brats who happen to be from the same company. *shudders*

well takki's not so bad now that he's improved and moved away from the usual drama fluff. he did good in y oshitsune and i'm glad people have stopped comparing him to takuya. it must be kinda sad that when you accomplish something great you get recognized as the next takuya and not just as yourself.
oh i'm gonna go to my local japanese store today with my friend and i'm gonna try to find some smap magazines! i even made a smap mix cd for my friend to listen to on the way. haha, she sorta reluctantly became my smap partner. _________________

Anyway, I don't know any of these guys enough to say if they're bad actors or whatever, but I find the constant "he's the next Kimura" or the insertcountryhere Takuya rather "whatever"
First off all, it's not like Takuya's retired LOL, secondly these people would have to be around a long time, be excellent at what they do, be considered hot and/or sexy by a large amount of people, and be on top...for years before you could even compare them IMO.

The media is always saying who and who is going to be the future Takuya #2 and etc...I had already heard enough of those...for Kame, I even heard that they said that his acting is really like Takuya too...but when I watched his drama, I don't think his acting is like Takuya at all...I mean each of them had their own style.. _________________
