Beautiful dog...
Why do dogs and cats always seem to have one or both paws curled like that? I always thought it was funny and cute at the same time...
I have no idea, my dog does the same thing.

The Akita really is good looking.
I had a friend with an Akita once. Very amazing dog. smart, calm personality, but great for protection
Chloe is cute. My dog is also a shepard mix. They are great!
Thank you I love Shepherd mixes, they throw a good mix into their personalities. They are smart, protective, and very loyal. It balances out my dog's stubbornness from the Husky. But yeah, Panda is very calm, but playful too. But she doesn't wanna admit she's loyal and she's pretty stubborn, lol. She's pretty submissive for an Akita too though...

yea, i love cats too. but i just don't know how to take care of pets properly.
and isn't a dog bowl too big for a cat....?
what does he/she do that reflects a characteristics of a dog?
She rolls around, lies on her back, wags her tail, and gives me the "puppy eyes" and ... she plays catch...A cat trapped in a dog's body, I am training myself to be a Pet Shrink (Psychiatrist) for her.
Oh, and no, no bowls are too big for her, she has the appetite of an elephant, but has the metabolism of a supermodel, go go inu-neko (or is it inu-buta-neko).

haha. inu-neko. she sounds cute! i have a cat back home at my mom's place who's like....12 years old perhaps? he did some funky things.
1) he ate domestic-house-lizards and cockroaches before.
2) he slept on his back while lying beside a wall before...JUST LIKE A HUMAN
3) he 'pee'ed using the toilet bowl before!!! i find it amazing!
his full name is "doogie houser MD", named after that famous show a LONG time ago about a very young doctor. [my sister and i used to really like that show]
my whole family just calls him "doog" for short.

I own a cat who thinks she is a dog (maybe because her previous owner used to fed her in a dog bowl, how cruel). Yup, my cat has an identity crisis.
Demo ne, ore wa neko ga daisuki desu yo.
LOL, I know how that goes. I'm a dog person, as most of my family is. My sister's eldest and smallest dog, Lucy, seems to have some cat characteristics. She was raised with a Himalayan that was really mean to her, LOL. So she fears cats. Then she did things like the cat did, like walk across tops of couches, groomed herself like cats do, and she gets hairballs from licking her fur so she pukes a lot But she still does dog things, like waits for the mail man...we call her a barking male cat. Male, because she humps things, LOL.
My sister got her when she was around 5 months old, but before that she was with her husband's brother's friend. He was planning to train her to fight (I HATE THIS!!! ). He used to put ankle weights on her neck and made her jump over park benches. She's only part Pit Bull and she looked full breed when she was small. She grew up to be skinny like a tiny Greyhound. They planned to get rid of her ASAP because she wasn't full breed. My brother in law took her and gave her to my sister. So she was saved....
Luckily the training didn't affect her personality too much. She's cranky with other dogs that don't let her reign over them though. The main thing that came out of that is that she jumps really high....luckily she's pretty sweet overall.
