Italy 2, Germany 1. Italy shot down the German Luftwaffe like its planes were made of balsa wood.

Yeah they're screwed. They need to pick up the pace. Columbia is their most difficult opponent in that group too.

It's homeground advantage for all the South American teams. The tropical weather and playing ground aren't the cup of tea for those from temperate climate. Keeping my that Germany reaches the final four.

Yep, 3-1 now, with just a few minutes more to go. I expect Zaccheroni and his players will get a grilling (and more?) when they return home.

It's okay, they're in good company with the likes of Spain, Italy and England all going back early.
