They were invited. Normally it would have been the USA, but the US wants to concentrate on the Concacaf Gold Cup, so they declined.
I think Japan was invited because Argentine teams are always getting invited to play in Japan, so it's like returning the favor.

Speaking of the CONCACAF Gold Cup. Canada just won the Women's Gold Cup hehe. Nice to see the ladies win some silverware, now if only the men could do the same thing. Beaten

Kara Lang In love

As for the EPL, my beloved West Ham suck. Blown leads in two straight games against Birmingham, West Brom and most likely Blackpool come this Saturday. Shake Head

Do you get the English Premier League televised on broadcast TV or cable? If so, is it on a basic cable channel or do you have to order a premium channel to watch it in Canada?

Cable. We have a few channels carrying Premier League games, Sportsnet, Sportsnet ONE, TSN and TSN2. Sportsnet and TSN are on basic cable, with ONE and TSN2 premium. Although, ONE might be going basic soon. Hope that helps Victory! Peace!

Setanta is awesome, if only it wasn't $20/month hehe

Barcelona spanked Real Madrid, 5-0. Barcelona was the superior team. It got a bit ugly at the end, with Sergio Ramos hitting, pushing Puyol & Xavi in the face. So much for all that unity at the world cup. Sweat

Russia will host the 2018 World Cup, and Qatar will host it in 2022.

Kagawa Shinji must be enjoying life with Borussia Dortmund. Eight goals scored already and Dortmund are top of the league with only one loss so far in the season. Sadly, they were eliminated today from the Europa League, so now they can just concentrate on the league.

Shame Palermo won't go through, can't go wrong with a team who wear pink Beaten

EDIT: Forgot to add this. http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/217677/John-Terry-bro-s-affair-sparks-suicide
