Yeah I know what you mean, sometimes your friends don't want to attend the same events you do. I have since learned that if you really want to go to an event, then just pick yourself up and go by yourself. You might meet someone there, ya never know???

I thought because they showed the photos of the Queen's candidates that we could vote. Bummer! Did you see the photos of all the past years' winners? That was fun to look at.

Taiko would be one of my favorites too. I love the sound.

It's essentially true. Most of my friends are (still) married, so they're ball-and-chained.

Nah, mostly from the local colleges: UCLA, USC, UCI, CSULA... And they're usually cream of the crop.
