no deal! inventor of scheme should actually be shogun. but i thought better not take forum mod's place (emperor is a useless position, so i am sure genma won't be interested in being emp)

so settle for samurai. can work towards daimyo. even if i don't have the required no. of posts. mod can always modify my post count, heh heh.

and forgot! it would be nice to have matching icons. and although the rank is the same, we should be able to change the icon for that rank. so preferably, multiple samurai faces and daiymo faces. i would like to be nobunaga one day

Although the emporer is just a figure head now, if you are going to compare the time of the samurai with the time of the emperor, then indeed the emperor means the utmost important. So Genma WOULD be the�@Emporer�B

(since i can't say no to michi and her cute michelle reis avatar/sig ... that sig is cute as a button!) well i don't have any good ideas...so how about food! ...like appetizer, entree, dessert, soup du jour, main course, i dunno...stuff like that..but when i think about it this has nothing to do with jdrama so... wait how about if we show wh's fan we're in like our avatar...like under our avatar pic and stuff i'll say "takuya kimura fan" or "ryoko hirosue fan" so new ppl will know that stuff isnted of just typing it in all the time.....well .....i'll think about so BETTER suggestion next time.... since i didn't give this much tought.... so

I like the idea of a User Level system that correlates with your number of post. How about in addition to that system and to get everyone in the review and commentary spirit, we add points for how many dramas you review, vote for, and comment about. Its more or less a reward for participation other than posting.

As for my ideas for a ranking system I say we use the Japanese name suffix system like
kun/chan
san
sama
etc...

im sorry if this isn't a good idea ^_^. Just throwing ideas out there in the idea pool.

hmmm.. i also thought we sould do something unique to jdorama.com..something about dramas, since we are a jdorama loving cmmunity.. so adding on to loveless' suggestion.. i was thinking of something like [gokusen fan] or [long vacation fan].. which can be changed afetr you feel you've watched a better drama.. haha..
