Finished a few dramas, including Dakara Korosenakatta, Maiko-san Chi no Makanai-san, and The Journalist. All pretty solid in their own rights.

Three episodes into Reversal Orchestra, and quite enjoying it. Had feared it'd be a cheap reboot of Nodame Cantabile, but it is not turning out as such, which is a relief. There are some arcs that are similar to Nodame, such as the problems the orchestra faces, but the execution feels somewhat different, which is good. It's so nice to hear classical music in a drama again, and even in the background music too.

Even looking at a 'map/list' of Japanese Dramas/Movies being subtitled into English are becoming fewer and fewer. And those are that do are not in the interest zone of people over 30. Even older, veteran actors are taking bit parts in shows that have the 'new young cast' just to have a job. Seems the whole JDrama Japan entertainment system is breaking down. I did see some really good shows coming up this Spring 2023, but out of
