Still watching "Yube no Curry, Ashita no Pan" but i have yet to decipher the real meaning of the drama title.

After taking a break since February they're subbing "Dakara Koya" again. So picking that back up where I left off at episode 3.

Watched the 8th episode of Kekkon Shinai...it was a good one. The next ep should be interesting.

I also just finished the first episode of Osen(2008) and still haven't decided to keep watching or not.

Started the first two episodes of Kokoro ga Pokitto ne and quite like it. The guys are pretty interesting, though I haven't been able to warm up as quickly to the ladies yet. I feel Mizuhara Kiko is a bit... stretching it so far, she doesn't seem naturally comfortable in the role as yet and I'm not sure I want Miyako to end up with Haruta for now.

It's been ages since I've seen Fujiki in such an adorable, carefree role - it kinda reminds me of his character in Galcir. Abe Sadao is wonderful, capturing all the quirks of Haruta. I could relate to his "I want to be alone" refrain, especially when the annoying colleague keeps invading his space. I hadn't expected Shizuka to be like this, but Yamaguchi Tomoko is doing well so far.

Shin's house is a perfect mess, haha. And I love how the guys have already gone to visit the clinic (that doc's a hoot), wonder when it'll be the ladies' turn?

Sakai Masato with Aoi Yu is a very good combination. The story and direction are solid, and the rest of the cast is doing a great job as well.

Started Fuben na Benriya, it's hilarious! Endo Kenichi is awesome in this, and at 30 mins an episode, it's an easy watch. And there's so much snow, I love it!

I don't know if I'll put it in the same class as my other favorite school dramas, GTO, Medaka, and Queen's Classroom, but it's pretty good. They almost lost me at episode 5 with all the screaming and yelling and trying figure out who Ogawa likes (who cares?!) but it came back strong in the next couple episodes.

Hiroki Hasegawa who I thought was terrible in "Kaseifu no Mita" is very good as Suzuki, Tomita Yasuko is a hoot as his main antagonist Taruko Sensei. You can tell when she smiles at him she's thinking "I hate your guts!!" Most of the kids are pretty good too.

I tried to catch just the last 10minutes of every episode, it didn't work out. I missed all the fun in-between.

They should continue with a second season in the format of Shinya Shokudo. It's ridiculous to say we don't know anything about the main character after multiple seasons........but who cares?

Started the first two episodes of I'm Home. It's a bit strange watching a Kimutaku drama after not having seen most of his 2000s stuff, but so far I think he's doing okay. The plot is nothing particularly riveting, though I'm curious why Ieji sees masks on the faces of his wife and son. I hope they don't drag out that mystery for too long.

Have watched four episodes of Kokoro ga Pokitto ne and... not sure if I want to continue with it. Is anyone else watching this? Does it get better?

I'm up thru episode 5 on both of those. "Kokoro ga Pokitto" has Tomoko Yamaguchi and if they made a drama "Tomoko Yamaguchi sits at home and watches paint dry" I would buy the DVD boxed set so I'm kind of biased. It's okay, Sadao Abe has been great and the best part of this drama so far but I feel like telling Kiko Mizuhara to shut up, go sit in the corner and let the real actors work.

I've like "I'm Home" so far. The whole mask thing is kind of driving me crazy, I wish they had come up with another way to show that Kimura is having a hard time readjusting to Aya and his son. It looks like he was a real jackass before his accident so I think we can safely bet that the "accident" was an attempt on his life. Probably by that guy in management that's having him watched. It's interesting how we find out a little more of his past with each episode. Kind of like peeling the layers off an onion. Like most Kimtaku drama's though it's got a real good supporting cast with Toshiyuki Nishida as one of his co-workers, Jun Fubuki as his mother and Miki Mizuno as his ex-wife. I didn't recognize Mizuno at first with her hair cut so short, she was in the J-Ent World doghouse for quite awhile I guess from problems with her management but I'm glad to see her back.

Up thru episode 7 on both "Kokoro ga" and "I'm Home".

Sadao Abe is so great in "Kokoro ga" he's the main reason I've kept watching. Unfortunately it's airing opposite "Dr. Rintaro" and it's getting killed in the ratings.

Kimura is starting to remember some things in "I'm Home". There could be a nice relationship between Kimura and Subaru. But they've brought in the old "somebody has cancer" cliche. Otherwise it's still very good, we got to meet Kimura's father (Kinya Kitaoji) and there are a couple different subplots going on.

But if you looked here at JDorama none of those dramas exist.

According to JDorama there were only six dramas in the Spring of 2015: The Erika Sawajiri drama (gotta keep the fanboys happy), the current asadora, and four dramas I never heard of.

Now up thru episode 8 on "I'm Home" and "Kokoro ga"

Kazue Fukiishi shows up in "I'm Home". She and Kimtaku were having an affair before. And we find out who the real bad guy is at the company.

"Kokoro ga" is getting somewhat confusing. They're bringing in new characters and it must be because they're getting hammered in the ratings by "Dr. Rintaro" and feel like they need to make some changes, or the writer (Yoshikazu Okada) has lost his way. I hope not, Okada wrote the "Saigo Kara" series, "Muri Renai", "Churasan", "Beach Boys". He's got a pretty good track record. But then again, he also wrote "Boku dake no Madonna".

They're showing "Aibou 13" locally, up to episode 6. If you've watched the series at all you know that one of the trademarks is near the end of each episode as Sugishita is questioning the bad guy he'll say "Hitotsu dake" (one more thing). Then he asks another question which is when the bad guy trips himself up. This time the bad guy (or woman in this case) had already been caught and is in the interrogation room with Itami and she asks "Hitotsu dake" and then wants to know how they caught her. Nice change of pace.

I'm a little surprised by that turn, but then again, the clues were kinda there. But it's a good surprise. I haven't watched episode 9 yet, but so far it's shaped up pretty well. One of the more promising spring dramas, and one of Kimutaku's better ones in recent years. I'm glad I gave this a shot. Hopefully 9 and 10 will resolve the mask mystery good.
