Oh please. If I had any influence over anyone there'd never be another Japanese Medical drama... and all melo drama would carry a prison sentence.
The important thing is to be consistent, dear.
And once about every two years I do a Med drama.
White Tower ep 8 so far.
Kurosawa Toshiaki is rocking on in his ambitious brilliant surgeon way. Guess everyone knows Im a fan of his.
Watched a rather cute special called Kanojo to no Tadashii Asobikate The premise of a childhood agreement that one would act as servant to the other secretly until outside people discovered it but pretty well done. THe young actors charming and fresh. The story, thankfully, kept to a special so it didnt grow too tired or repetitive
@Beem- We dont watch the previews in my house because it makes us crazy with their spoilers. _________________

Watched a bunch of episodes of Golden Bowl yesterday (I think I'm up to episode 7 or 8). Kaneshiro Takeshi is just in this one and Kuroki Hitomi is adorable. The rest of the cast is wonderful and I can't wait to see what happens next. (I also watched up to episode 7 of Couple or Trouble, but it's a Kdrama, so I really shouldn't post that here).

Golden Bowl is pretty good. What always cracked me up was the white suited yakuza and his singing henchmen. Didn't know yakuza were so fashion co-ordinated!!

"Gokusen" (I was saving it!)
"Himitsu no hanazono" (Watched the first 2 episodes; might save for later)
"Good Luck!!" (Watched the first episode on mysoju.com, but the video's messed up, so I'm going to wait...anxiously)

Watched ep 6 of Mirai Koshi Meguru...
This show is utterly insane, and absolutely hilarious...
There can be no doubt that Kudo Kankuro wrote this with Fukada Kyoko in mind as the female lead...
She's parodying herself all over the place, and knows it full well...it's just brilliant!
Special thanks to the subbers who did such a good job that I got a lot of the jokes I would have missed otherwise... _________________

Okie doke.
I finished LxIxVxE. The nice thing is that my copy is a recording of a hard subbed broadcast of the series. Which means I could set the fast forward function to go just as fast as I could read without having the subs cut out. (In a lot of formats the subs disappear once you're going more than 4x normal speed.)
Click on button to reveal/hide spoiler:
In the end the band learned how to play very well, and everyone became great friends.
I'm also working my way through Hataraki Man. The Kanno Miho vehicle. Okay, I'm biased. All the women in this show are gorgeous. And I like all of the actors. So it doesn't really matter to me that it's kind of a cookie cutter drama. I'm still enjoying it.
Re: coming attractions. When I'm recording or authoring a disc, I treat coming attractions the same as commercials. I lose them.
When I'm stuck with them on a set of discs I either turn the player off when I see the preview start, or I skip to the next chapter and let the next episode start.
Previews are nothing but spoilers. _________________

Now that you mentioned it, they're hilarious. Especially when they get along with the bowling alley owner so well (drinking beer and singing together).
I've watched a few episodes today (I'm going to start episode 10 next) and it'll be sad to see this series end. Really enjoying this a lot. _________________

That ruins it. I'd like to think the readers have brains enough to figure it out on their own.

Tokyo Ghost Trip. And it's as hopeless as TokyoMix's 25-minute fillers normally are.
It's so bad it's actually so amusing. I don't buy any of the characters, the acting is horrendeous, the plot (..there IS one?? :o ) is weaker than weak and the budget.. yeah.
But seeing Juri in that role and the other kids as well.. it's just and a filler. Crack of the year, most likely.
Hokaben. Kitamura Kazuki is my all-time favourite and one of the best actors in his generation. And he hasn't disappointed me here either.
Ueto Aya has got a role that suits her, and even if I'm not a big fan, she's fine to watch here.
Too bad for her, that Kitamura (once again. Hi Bambino! and Matsumoto Jun) steals the spotlight.
They better keep cutting the JE-kid out or he get his half-assed act together because it's painful to watch.
Last Friends I've liked. And not only because of the issue it's brought up in some serious Japanese talk-shows. Yay for discussions woken up by a drama.
Zettai Kareshi. The first episode promised good, hopefully this doesn't blow up and crash on the wall after a few episodes.
I'm going to check out Ryoteki na Kanojo and CHANGE too, of course. CHANGE is just my kind of a drama with a political touch _________________

For some reason, they told me back in the days that it suits my personality so.. I'm stuck with it ^^
Oh. And I'm going to skip G3 right away, just had to watch the 1st episode so that I can say I tried.
(I made it, with six pauses, one fruit cake and three friends.) _________________
I just finished Bara No Hana. Great show. Still need to finish up Liar Game, Honey And Clover, and the Pro Dai SP. First, going to finish up anime Beck. _________________
