B's all over the Flyers in Philly this afternoon 7-3, finally breaking out of their offensive slump, Lucic needs to realize it's the playoffs, their leading goal scorer during the season but has yet to find the back of the net in the postseason. 'Nucks and Preds resume their series later on tonight out in B.C. _________________

^^ Guess you need to give the defensive scheme of the Preds some credit then, even the loss in game one they allowed only 1 goal. Sharks take a 2-0 lead in games against the Wings sfter edging them 2-1 today and currently Lightning and Caps are playing right now, really a must game for the Caps after losing game one at home. _________________

True. I've always called Barry Trotz "The Woodchuck". He just looks like a woodchuck to me. But he is a very good coach, the only one Nashville's ever had. This might be his year to get to the finals.

^^ Good chance besides the Preds for a team which has never been to the finals or not been for a while to make it this year.
Thought it was going to be the Caps year but the Lightning have other ideas about that as they put the Caps in a big hole by winning in OT 3-2. They had the lead 2-1 with less than 2 minutes to go in regulation when Ovechkin tied it up but in OT Vinny L. with his 2nd of the game won it for TB, who now go home with a 2-0 series lead. _________________

^^ Be hard playing without a stick or mask but we'll take your word for it.
Well, both have played tonight, better than last game, tied 2-2 after 2, Flyers jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead but B's came back to tie it by the end of the first period, no scoring in the second. _________________

Whew, game 2 was one tense affair but with 6 minutes to go in the first OT Krejci had his 4th of the playoffs to send the B's to a 3-2 victory. Star of the game was Thomas who was huge, 52 saves, now back to Boston they go, after last year the B's realize no lead in games is safe against the Flyers. _________________

^^ Jeeesh, you're right, can understand if it was at least J-Pop concert ...a graduation already? It's only gonna be May 5th, maybe it's for the athletes who aren't required to attend school FT.
EDIT- The Nucks-Preds game is currently going on and like the first 2 not much scoring, 1-1 after 2 periods. Like GM mentioned above, can't score if you don't shoot, Preds have only 12 shots, 4 in the second period, hope Luongo has a good book to keep him awake. _________________

^^ That Lightning sweep is one of the biggest surprises in a long time, sure they had a good chance to win the series but a sweep?
Bruins now all too well what a 3-0 lead does for you, hoping their meories are short.
EDIT- Nice how NHL.com has the Wings-Sharks live on their site, do they have a game every night?
EDIT 2- It was only a 5 minute freebie to get you to sign up. _________________

Looks like were going to have to hope the boys out West give us a down-to-the-wire-nail-biting 7 game series.
But it won't be the Sharks/Wing series as the Sharks go up 3-0. Can't believe I picked Detroit to win this series.
Btw, the Sharks have a player with a Japanese background, Devin Setoguchi, who had a hat trick last night.
From Wiki:
Devin Setoguchi (born January 1, 1987) is a Canadian professional ice hockey right winger for the San Jose Sharks of the National Hockey League (NHL). He is also known by the nicknames The Gooch, and Seto. Half-Yonsei (fourth-generation Japanese Canadian), he was drafted by the Sharks in the first round, eighth overall, in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.

^^ I'm not up on my Nihon hockey except for the Pride drama, is there a JPHL there? Don't recall his name but didn't Anaheim have a goalie from Japan but he was only with them for a brief time. _________________

Doesn't appear to be too popular, only 7 teams between 3 countries, then again except for Europe, Canada and the U.S. Hockey really isn't too popular.
Their version of the Stanley Cup, uh, the Ramen Cup?

B's made it look somewhat easy tonight, was tied at one before they erupted for 4 goals to send the Flyers to their summer vacation by winning 5-1 and sweeping the series. Hard to believe but it's the first time since 1992 they've made the conference finals, up next are the Lightning. And the Wings stay alive for one more game by winning at home against the Sharks 4-3. _________________
