^^ Roloson did play a real good game, can't fault him, Thomas was solid too in facing fewer shots. Nerves have finally calmed down a tad, love seeing OTs in game 7's but not in a game where you're rooting for one of the teams. Well, one jinx will be going away in the finals, B's haven't won the cup in 39 years, 'Nucks have never won it in 40 years, here's hoping Luongo goes back to his usual playoff form before this year's run. _________________

For awhile I thought it was going to be one of those double-OT games where the winning goal is scored by a defenseman that's taken 3 shots all year, it gets redirected 4 times and bounces off the goalies head.

To be honest I was picturing some sort of scenario like that but sadly had some unknown TB player scoring it. You know what was strange about last night's game is that there were ZERO penalties, don't recall ever seeing a game that had none, can understand the B's not taking any the way TB's PP has been going but the way the B's PP has been going certainly wouldn't have hurt TB to play with a little bit more aggression. _________________

It's official (sort of):
Thrashers moving to Winnipeg
ATLANTA (AP)—First, the Flames. Now, the Thrashers.
The struggling NHL franchise was sold Tuesday to a group that will move it to Winnipeg next season, making Atlanta the first city in the leaguefs modern era to lose two teams.
The Flames left for Calgary in 1980. The Thrashers are following them to Canada three decades later.
gI want to thank all the Thrashers fans that supported us in Atlanta for my two years there. Very unfortunate there will be no NHL hockey,h tweeted Evander Kane, one of the teamfs most promising young players. gI will miss the great people and city of Atlanta.h
True North Sports and Entertainment announced the deal during a news conference at Winnipegfs MTS Centre, the 15,015-seat arena where the team will play. The news sparked a raucous celebration in Manitobafs largest city, which is rejoining the league after losing the Jets to Phoenix in 1996.
The new team could also be known as the Jets, though a decision on the name has not been reached. The Thrashers name—which was coined by former owner Ted Turner and referred to the state bird of Georgia—will not be going north of the border.
Thousands of fans in red, white and blue Jets jerseys cheered, waved flags and played impromptu games of street hockey. While the deal is subject to approval of the league owners, thatfs expected to be a mere formality when the board of governors meets June 21 in New York.
gItfs nice to be back in Winnipeg after all these years,h said NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman, who attended the True North news conference.
In Atlanta, there was little reaction other than a tearful news conference held by co-owner Michael Gearon. He said the group that controls the Thrashers, the NBAfs Atlanta Hawks and operating rights to Philips Arena did all it could to find someone who would help keep the financially ailing team in the city.

^^ What exactly was Chara doing on that play, no excuses for that, worst comes to worst drag him down and take the penalty, Thomas wasn't to great on that play either. _________________

^^ And to start taking more quality shots, Luongo has played well as far as stopping a lot of shots but very few have been real testers though. Gonna be tougher for the B's now, think their best clutch player has been Horton and he's been knocked out of the game. _________________
