^^ Glad someone started a thread for her, she's young but also quite talented, she's really got a good chance into becoming a big star these next few years. Have seen her in Otomen, Gold and her current drama, Taisetsu na Koto wa subete kimi ga oshiete kureta. Plus she has a new one coming out next month.
From Tokyohive:
Actress Takei Emi (17) will be a lead star for the first time in an upcoming drama, temporary titled gAsuko March!g, which will start in April.
This drama is based on a ongoing manga, gAsuko March!~Kenritsu Asuka Kougyou Koukou Koushinkyoku~h (written by Akiyama Kaori), in female comic magazine, gYOUg, and itfs a story about a girl who failed her examinations and ends up going to technical high school where all of her classmates are boys.
Takei is currently playing one of the main cast members in the eGetsu 9 drama, gTaisetsuna Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshietekuretag, and she is definitely one of the most remarkable young actresses.
She recently commented about being casted as the lead, gI was happy, but surprised. Although Ifm little anxious to be the lead star, I also feel very excited at the same time.h
The cast for Takeifs classmates will be announced later.

I was so impressed with her acting in Taisetsu na Koto... too! I'm not too sure about Asukou March because I am not familiar with the other cast members but any role Emi-chan can take and grow and learn from them all. It's part of becoming a great actress.
She is so talented and I hope that she becomes very successful in her career. Here are a few more pics!

It's actually one of the more funnier dramas, didn't get real positive reviews here but it exceeded all my expectations, would recommend watching it.
Yay! I found it online w/subs. woo hoo! I'm adding it to my queue to watch before her next drama airs. I hope to get started on it tomorrow. _________________

The whole series is also on YT, it's subbed, don't know if the quality is as good as other sites but it looks fine.
Episodes are about 37 minutes long.

LOL. Hi iluvasiandrama and hitomi # 1, we meet again! Can't wait for Takei Emi's new drama in April.
Hi manlekim and thanks for the video link on D-addicts. I was soooo glad to watch the last episode of Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete... I was pleased how the writers ended Emi's character Saeki.
LOL as you can see I was serious about Emi-chan's success I just want her to do well. BTW, I saw the comments you posted on the D-addicts thread and you were right. I wanted to join you but I got tired of defending the obvious point some of us were trying to make. I decided to focus my efforts on this. What did you think of the last episode? (Don't forget spoiler tags )
BTW, I felt so sad and almost cried when she was

on the train although I couldn't understand everything they were saying but I knew that it was deep and emotional because of the look on her face and Shuji's. For some reason this drama and her character really got to me. Strange... It seemed so real and I still feel sad thinking about the way she was treated and her past even though I know it was just a drama! I am glad it ended on a good note for her though!

Wow! Finally, there's a thread for Takei Emi. Her acting in Taisetsu is really good. Barring any negative publicity and attitude problem, she can become a star.
