Takei Emi to star in new Sokenbicha commercial
Actress Takei Emi, who has already been serving as the image character for Coca Cola�fs �eSokenbicha�e, has revealed that she will be starring in a new commercial for �eSokenbicha Hot�e. The commercial will air nationwide on October 29th.
In the cold winter months, Takei will warm herself up by drinking a bottle of �eSokenbicha Hot�f while singing a tune. From the tea we�fll see heart shaped steam come out as she shares snacks with a friend. As she enjoys her tea we�fll see heart shaped steam come out of her mouth as she sighs with relief. This commercial will warm your body and your heart at the same time.
Although the shooting for this commercial took place in September, Takei sports winter fashion by wearing a beanie, scarf, coat and long boots. Despite shooting in the hot weather wearing warm clothes, Takei acted professional and completed the shoot in style. The finished product is a commercial where fans can see Takei�fs beautiful and warm smile.

It�fs been revealed that actress Takei Emi will be making her singing debut with the single, �gKoi Suru Kimochi�g, on December 14th!

Actress Takei Emi was appointed as the new CM character for house maker �eSekisui Heim�e, and revealed her CM at a PR event in Tokyo.
In the CM, Takei plays a bride, and so she appeared in a beautiful wedding dress at the event that left reporters in awe.

Takei Emi films a webisode series for �eYoufuku no Aoyama�f
Actress Takei Emi (17) has become the new image character for clothing brand, �eYoufuku no Aoyama�e. She attended a press conference in Tokyo recently to talk about her upcoming promotions for the brand.
Starting November 5th, Takei will appear on an online video series titled, �eTAKE BLUE�e, which can be viewed through Youfuku no Aoyama�fs official website and YouTube channel.
Described as a 6-episode detective series, Takei revealed that they�fve concluded filming already and that viewers can expect a dramatic surprise. �gEach episode has its own twists and turns. My role is like that, so I can�ft really say what it is, but something dramatic will happen in the end. I�fd be really happy if people watched it. It seems like such a waste that it�fs only being used as a web movie,�h she said.
Miura Tomokazu, Mizobata Junpei, Aibu Saki, and Sasaki Nozomi were also part of the series, but unfortunately, Takei didn�ft get to meet her co-stars. �gI shot by myself most of the time, so I didn�ft get to meet the other cast members. The drama has a good tempo, but it was difficult to grasp the vibe of the set.�h
Tsutsumi Yukihiko served as the director of this mini-series, and though it was his first time working with Takei, he took quite a liking to her talents. �gI think she might be a genius,�h he said. �gShe has good intuition and it�fs been a very long time since I�fve seen such a phenomenon like her.�h
Takei replied, �gI�fm very happy. I can�ft believe I�fm receiving such words from him. I�fm so surprised. I am deeply grateful for those words. But having a good intuition makes me seem like a comedian�c�h
When asked about her impression of Tsutsumi, Takei remarked, �gI had a very fun time working with Tsutsumi director. Even though he�fs a cool man with little moments of speaking, he brings out great ideas in the midst of laughter. I jumped on and did a lot of things as well. This shoot was short, so next time, I would like to work with him on a longer project.�h

On November 8th, actress Takei Emi and professional soccer player Miura Kazuyoshi attended an awards ceremony for Japan Dental Association�fs �eBest Smile of the Year 2011�e.
While showing off her award-winning smile, Takei expressed, �gMy parents named me �eEmi�f, which means �eBearing a smile just like a blooming flower�f. By receiving this award, I can boast to my parents. I also feel very happy.�h She continued, �gI want to continue to deliver a happy aura with my smile.�h

14-year old girl chosen as �gyounger sister�h of Takei Emi
On November 13th, the �gGirls Audition 2011�h was held at Aeon Lake Town in Koshigaya, Saitama.
This event was held jointly by Oscar Promotion and AEON in order to find girls who could play the character roles of actress Takei Emi�fs older and younger sister. As a result, 14-year old Koshiba Fuka from Osaka was chosen as the grand prix.
Takei commented, �gI have a real sister who is 8 years younger than me, but I made a new sister in the middle.�h Meanwhile, Koshiba expressed, �gI want to inherit Takei-san�fs pretty smile. I want to become an actress.�h
Takei, who also participated as a judge, stated, �gIt was hard to judge,�h and continued, �gI gained such a cute little sister.�h She also gave some advice to her new �fsister�f saying, �gThe most important thing is greeting. It�fs common sense to greet people, but we forget to do it sometimes. So if you�fre able to greet properly, I think you�fll become a wonderful actress.�h
Koshiba was chosen out of 35,390 applicants because of her promising and translucent personality, and her dedication to figure skating since the 3rd grade. She commented, �gI figure skate 330 days in a year. Eventually, I want to become a figure skate instructor. This was something I really wanted to do, so I want to prioritize becoming an actress.�h

On November 17th, actress Takei Emi (17) attended a press event for the announcement of Adidas�f new sportswear, �gadienergy�h.
In addition to the appearance of this young actress, EXILE members MATSU (36), USA (34), and TETSUYA (30) also attended this event. Takei revealed at this announcement that, �gI actually often walk outside in jerseys,�h thus showing her interest in the new clothing line. Takei Emi & Matsuzaka Tori to star in live-action adaption of �gKyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu�h
Today it was announced that actress Takei Emi and actor Matsuzaka Tori are going to star in the live-action adaption of the best-selling manga �gKyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu�g.
Takei is going to play the role of �eHibino Tsubaki�f, a senior high school student who strongly believes in old customs such as keeping your virginity until marriage and has no confidence in dressing herself fashionable. However, her first kiss gets stolen by �eTsubaki Kyouta�f (Matsuzaka), a typical playboy who often teases her for being old-fashioned.
The manga is immensely popular among female high school students, who often call it their �elove bible�f. Even Takei is said to be a big fan of the manga and didn�ft hesitate at all when she received the offer for the live-action adaption, which is going to mark her first starring role in a movie.
Takei commented, �g�eKyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu�f is like the only popular girls�f manga that hasn�ft been adapted into a movie yet. I�fm already happy enough that it is finally being adapted, but to actually being able to play the protagonist is a really big honor for me.�h She continued, �gI�fm going to start 2012 with this very precious project and I�fd like to exert myself with the utmost effort in order to create a beautiful and enjoyable love story for everyone.�h
The manga has yet to release its final volume, thus the movie is going to incorporate some original story elements. The filming is scheduled to begin in January.
The producer, who already worked on this adaption for several year, commented, �gWhen I saw Takei, I knew that I found the perfect actress for the role of Tsubaki. Matsuzaka impressed me with his acting in �eAntoki no Inochi�f, but I�fve already had my eyes on him for quite a while now. I hope they can become the �egolden couple�f of the Heisei era. I also would like it become THE national date movie of Japan.�h
A release date for �gKyou, Koi wo Hajimemasu�h has yet to be announced, but it�fs supposed to open sometime in 2012.

MUSIC STATION has revealed that actress Takei Emi will be appearing on their December 9th broadcast, where she will perform her debut song, �gKoi Suru Kimochi�g, for the very first time.
As we previously reported, Takei will make her singing debut on December 14th with a love ballad written by GLAY�fs TAKURO. During the recording, she commented, �gIt�fs a song that is perfect for the winter season. I did my best and sang it wholeheartedly.�h
The single will feature a total of four songs, and will be available in three different versions: Limited Edition A, Limited Edition B, and Regular Edition. Actress Takei Emi has become the new image character for �gDai-ichi Life Insurance�g, and will be starring in their CM starting December 2nd.
Takei commented, �gI wondered if it was okay since I�fm only 17 years old. I want people who are young like me to know more about insurance.�h
The CM will come in two versions: �gAnata no Koe ni Kotaeru Hoken: Miraijin�h and �gAnata no Koe ni Kotaeru Hoken: Samurai�h. In the �gMiraijin�h (�eperson from the future�f) version, Takei asks, �gIf the future changes, does the anxiety go away?�h She then imagines a �emiraijin�f whispering her future into her ears.
Meanwhile in the �gSamurai�h version, she talks about her impressions of an insurance company. While imagining a serious samurai in a suit, she answers, �gSomehow�c it�fs formal.�h
During an interview after the shoot, Takei was asked about herself 30 years from now. She responded, �gEven if I�fm 47, I still want to be acting.�h Takei strongly expressed that she wants to play roles that are age appropriate, and also showcased her feminine side by saying, �gOf course, I hope to be married.�h
