Look out on Thursday nights, Fujitv presents Oda Yuji as Kuroda Kosaku and Shibasakii Kou as his sidekick.
This is a spill-over from Amalufi: Megami No Hoshu.
Kuroda Kosaku is investigating the mysterious death of his former colleague, an ex-diplomat, who met Kuroda after a gap of many years and was wanted for murder before his death. The first 90minutes was fast-paced and brought viewers from Tokyo to New York and San Francisco.

I hope there is no romance in this.......with so many heavyweight actors, there is no space to breathe. Honestly I didn't read dramawiki when I chanced upon the first episode of this drama. It was a pleasant surprise. So, Lee Byung Hun's entry was a stunner.....he spoke English.

Looking at the scenes in New York, vineyards, and car-chasing in San Francisco and a big bunch of American extras, it's not difficult to guess that this is from fujitv.Who else would have such a budget?

I almost mistaken Shibasaki Kou for Erika Toda. Lack of creativity. Must she look nerdy? I certainly hope Shibasaki's character isn't a mere vase.

Oda Yuji looks really cool in this role... so long as LEE BYUNG HUN doesn't appear again. Smitten......on the same screen. It always reminds me how Lee upstaged Kimura Takuya when they appear together in HERO. Bang Head

Thanks gaijinmark.

I haven't watched "Amalfi" yet. But it sure sounds like an expensive production.

Watched the first 2 episodes, they were ok, not bad. The plot seems interesting but Kuroda didn't let on much so it's hard to get a good idea of what kind of person he is. Not much chemistry/relationship between him and Ogaki either, though that may be the writer/director's intention, not sure.

Watched episode 3. Only tolerable. Not very interesting either, I didn't feel for or grew attached to any of the characters. Probably dropping this.

I quite enjoy this drama. I think the mistery really drawn me to keep watching it. As for chemistry.. it's tolarable, Kou quite convicing as a map nerd. Up to episode 7 and the puzzle starts to give hints of the problem.

Oda Yuji always play a perfect character, at least from on this drama and Last Christmas.

I did. even in here he's still the character with most common sense among the rest Sweat

I'm surprise the climax is in ep 9.. but I haven't seen ep 10 yet, so I still don't know what's coming after this.
