So why isn't the top of his head shaved?
Not shaved, so they can maintain his good looks
Watched Ep13, yokatta, yokatta~ I love the current -not so fast, not so slow- pace of the story.
As for One, the first time she appeared in Ep3, I was a bit disappointed bcoz she seem so calm, not as funky as the other One-s I've seen before (Sakai Noriko, Asano Yuko^^). But lately she's starting to act more and more like One, hehe. I love Ohtake Shinobu and I'm loving her One! I just read an article that says in Ep13 Tabuchi Kumiko just wrote the beginning/roots of why One would side with the Tokugawa side more than Toyotomi, later on in the Siege of Osaka. (in other adaptations though, I feel like One sides with Tokugawa because she just can't stand Chacha's stubbornness, but I also think its bcoz she is more reasonable than Chacha, realizing it's just not the era of Toyotomi anymore)
I like Chacha now, but when the time comes later, I would definitely side One-Gou-Tokugawa^^ I always dislike Chacha's attitude and opinions during the whole Siege of Osaka in any adaptations, I think it won't be different with this version^^
Anyway, one thing I don't get. Previously, Hideyoshi and One visited the sisters' room at night, in and out, freely like he and One stays at the same castle. But later on, Gou came to see them with horse-riding clothes, and One said, "You came all the way from Azuchi?". So where does Hideyoshi and One live currently?? I do know the historical records says that when the Azai sisters were staying at Azuchi, Hideyoshi was living in a different castle, but I thought Tabuchi Kumiko just made them stay in the same castle, to make the scenes easier to write. So I'm a bit surprised with that scene when it seems like Gou came from a faraway place to see Hideyoshi. _________________

Hideyoshi and O-Ne are back in Yamazaki Castle starting with the Kuroda Kanbei scene.
On a different note, to make up for the last 2 weeks, the ENG subs will be released a lot quicker this time XD

Oh really? Why would they go back and forth between Azuchi and Yamazaki?
Yamazaki is Hideyoshi's actual castle of residence at this time. In this story he went to Azuchi because of Chacha for the most part, maybe a little bit because of Tatsuko too, maybe XD

Azai sisters in NHK Taiga Drama 1989, Kasuga-no-Tsubone.
Miyazawa Rie as young Hatsu. (but I really have no idea which one is her)
Azai sisters in NHK Taiga Drama 2000, AOI~Tokugawa Sandai.
The young ones...
The old-- uhh, *cough* adult ones...
Gou, Hatsu, Chacha.
(the actress who play Hatsu seem alot younger than the actress who play Gou)
I like Iwashita Shima's portrayal as Ogou alot ^_^
Azai sisters in the 2006 Movie, "Chacha, Tengai no Onna".
Tomita Yasuko as Hatsu. Wao Yoka as Chacha. Terajima Shinobu as Ogou.
A movie focusing on the Azai sisters' lives, but mainly on Chacha. I quite like this movie. I love how the movie carries out the Siege of Osaka battle scenes. I think there's no exagerration that the Azai sisters are really the main characters in Siege of Osaka, them and also Hideyori and Sen-hime.
OUR Azai Sisters
Btw, had been wondering, why did descendants of high status in Sengoku era, had to be breast feed by wet nurses?? Why can't their birth mothers breast feed them themselves. Do the wet nurses breast-feed the little masters and ladies while breast-feeding their own babies too? Who breast-feed their own babies, if the wet nurses are busy breast-feeding their lords' babies? Sorry for the weird question _________________

^ I like how you say "OUR" there, lol.
Regarding the wet nurses, from what I've been gathered, the high ranking women tend to be too busy (especially those who gave births frequently) to nurse their children. Besides, since the wet nurses are also going to be the "teachers/advisors" of their young masters/ladies, having this kind of a bond wouldn't be a bad thing either.
One case I read: Nobunaga's wet nurse was the mother of his future vassal, Ikeda Tsuneoki, who was breastfed by his own mother. So I guess it's not always the case that there had to be a wet nurse.
Another interesting note: Chacha's wet nurse (Saki in this drama), is said to be also the wet nurse of Hideyori.
