Synopsis:
This drama is a remake of the popular suspense drama that was aired in Korea last year. Ohno Satoshi will be playing the role of a two-faced lawyer, one of which is a kind hearted soul and the other who is plotting revenge, using his brilliant mind, on the person who killed his relative. On the other hand, Ikuta Toma will play the double lead role of the man, who has become a detective due to his dark past, who is pursuing the mysterious series of murders and fighting against the devil (maou). i was shocked when i first read about it, mainly because of Toma!! just a few weeks after his filming for HK SP, he's now having another drama coming up!! yay!! only shows that his acting skills were finally being recognized!!
as for Ohno, im not an avid fan of him, only knows him as an Arashi member.. .. it's said that this wud be his first starring role in a drama, so just wanna say "omedetou" and very happy for him!! since this is his first time as a lead, it's undeniable that he wud be somehow pressured in portraying the role but i guess his performances he had in stage plays will make up for it!! i read one funny fact from another forum, indicated on a certain blog..that when ohno was informed of starring in a drama, he cudn't believe it at first, and was looking around for cameras thinking that it might be a prank on him!!
so the two ladies were olready confirmed as part of the cast, to be honest i also don't see either of them fitting for the female lead role..
im just assuming that they're one of the minor characters..
i agree with Aoi Yuu being the female lead!! besides her, i can't think of any other ones..

Since I will not be watching the Korean version, I really have no idea why everyone seems to want Aoi Yu as the female lead. But I did want a more unknown actress to be in the drama just to see the capabilities of the actors, storyline - the whole works. Let's see how it goes

Anyway, another actor has been confirmed in the cast: Oshinari Shugo. If you don't know him, he was in Yamada Tarou, Hana Yori Dango 1 and Yankee so yes, this makes another and final Arashi member he is acting with.

i didn't know who he is until i googled him..

i only remember him as Yuki's idiotic boyfriend in HYD but i find him cute, in terms of looks not personality ne?! wonder what his role would be...

I guess Yuu-chan embodies the calming quality and grace that was portrayed in the original... but she's quite popular choice because she's popular. Everyone likes her (and those who don't like her are people who enjoy kicking puppies in their free time ).
You have a point there. Aoi Yuu brilliance might overshadow both Ohno, Toma and the whole drama XD. An fresh talent would suit the role better. However she must be pretty and a capable actor to carry such a role.

P/s: For me Kobayashi is just too young for the lead. she's a nice choice as the blind sister though.

This is quite interesting (the plot). I think I'll watch it.

I think when Ohno is on screen, they will shoot upwards as to make him look taller

I watched her in "Shigeshoshi", she wasn't bad even when the whole show was filled with quite a bit of dramatic scenes (heck! it was a drama about embalming!) Oshinari was also in that drama, playing the funeral organiser.
